We found this condo to be immaculate and conveniently located. From the blender to make my veggie shakes that I didn't want to miss while on vacation, the little cooler in the pantry that came in so handy on many occasions, to the beach blankets and chairs (and more), we really didn't need for anything. To stock the well-equipped kitchen, Ralph's is just down the street. My daughter and I decided to take a vacation on our own to PB. We felt very comfortable and safe. Woke up every morning to the sounds and sights of the ocean. Had so much fun riding the bikes up and down the boardwalk everyday. San Diego and PB are fun to explore, easy to get around and there is just so much to do! You never have to worry about a parking spot because you have an assigned spot in underground parking. Riko and Greg, thank you so much for the hospitality. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else during our next PB vacation.

We really enjoyed our rental and vacation. The view was spectacular, accomodations very relaxing, and the unit was very clean. The listing and photos are very accurate. Riko and Greg thought of all the little extras---coffee, toilet paper, bath soap, shampoo, misc toiletries. When you travel a long distance, it is nice to know you don't have to immediately run to the store for these necessary items. We loved the walks along the boardwalk and ocean, right out front of the complex. The sushi in the area is fantastic; Casa de Pico in LaMesa has great Mexican food and atmosphere. Mount Soledad has a wonderful 360 degree view of San Diego. We happened upon a great cliff-side walk somewhere between Solana Beach and LaJolla. We had a minor issue with the internet, which would drop on us at times. We had a great vacation, would definitely recommend it to family and friends, and if we should travel to San Diego again, would stay at the same property. Thank you for the memories!

From the Harbor Cruise to Old Town to Balboa Park and the Zoo, San Diego is a wonderful vacation spot. There are amazing restaurants and beaches as well.
What made our week so enjoyable was your condo. Not only was the it beautifully decorated, it was immaculate also. It was as advertised and more! We watched the surfers in the morning and the sun setting in the evening. We were as comfortable as if we'd been in our own home.

The perfect place!

This unit was absolutely fantastic! It had all the amenities of being home and more! The decor was wonderful.....all beach themed. The floor to ceiling window in the living room gave a spectacular view of the ocean. There was a wonderful sea breeze that blew through the unit to cool it down and give you that ocean breeze smell. The owners were prompt and friendly. We had a fantastic vacation which was greatly needed after 13 years of no formal vacation!

We enjoyed our visit to San Diego; there is so much to do and so much to see. The weather was perfect most of the week; 70's and sunny.
The place was perfect for two. It may sleep four with the roll out couch; but I would not recommend. Maybe a third person would work.
The best feature was the large window overlooking the boardwalk and ocean. You could see Crystal Pier from the window and with our binoculars ready at hand watch surfers and dolphins at play during the week. I had to pinch myself each morning; I was so thrilled with the view. We opened the blinds as soon as it started getting light and just enjoyed our coffee and morning devotionals in front of the window just watching the ocean and activities out the window before starting our day.
Our host were very gracious; meeting us the day we checked in and showing us around the complex; around the apartment and suggesting places to visit and restaurants. The had brochures and suggestions with their instruction book. They made check out very easy also. Very well thought out.
The place had all we needed. It is all blue; funny how many shades of blue there are. We thought it interesting at first and grew to love it. You have to experience it to understand.
I might warn one thing; the Pacific Beach crowd is mostly very young and you really have to adjust to the boardwalk and community. It has a more energetic vibe; not very sedate. Kind of like the all blue in the condo; we grew to love it.
I conclude by saying perfect place. We would stay there again if they have the place available and will allow us.

My husband & I just returned from a week in this condo - it was a pleasure to be in such a clean, modern, & scenic place! We loved walking to the stores & restaurants, and used the bikes to ride all around Mission Bay & along the ocean sidewalk that runs right out front. During our stay we went to the Zoo, Balboa Park & Coronado (all very close), but what we enjoyed the most was our AM coffee watching the surfers right out the living room window!
This condo is in an awesome location, is impeccably clean, modern, and the owners are incredibly conscientious, considerate and helpful. They were nice enough to check us in personally & everything was as advertised. In May it was very quiet in the complex - we had the pool and jacuzzi to ourselves!

Wonderful vacation condo

My husband and I stayed in this condo for a week in April. The bed was super comfortable and the owners took the time to make sure that the place is equipped with all the essentials of home.
The view is amazing and the living room is spacious with a large screen television and dvd player.
I would definitely recommend this place and we are definitely considering going back again!

Lovely appartment right at the oceanfront

we stayed at the appartment in June 2010. It was very clean, individually decorated and with a great view across the ocean. The beach is just across the road, there is also a pool in the back yard. The owners are very nice and it seems all very new and up to date. Can only recommend this appartment.

We Had a Great Time!

We have stayed twice now at Ocean Point condos. The location is very convenient, on the ocean, in the heart of Pacific Beach, with spectacular views from the ocean side condos. The property is well maintained, and the gated covered parking is quite secure. The condo association has a lot of rules, but enforcing them does keep the property in excellent shape for owners, guests, and renters.
Greg and Riko's condo was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and organized, and had everything we needed for our stay. They were very accommodating with our somewhat late arrival. Their view directly out onto the ocean is better than for some of the other units (including the one we stayed in last summer), Others still have a view of the ocean and the Crystal Pier, but are actually facing south rather than west. While we didn't worry about this in April, we believe the cooling ocean breezes would be better with the west facing rather than south facing units in the summer. This is a quality rental that we hope to enjoy again on another trip to San Diego.
