Great place on a Fantastic Beach!

This is one of the nices places for rent in Rincon. It has the perfect location right on the beach with walkout access to a pool. The apartment was very clean. It is well equipt with most anything that you would need (beach chairs, umbrella, linens, beach towels, full cooking utensils, dinnerware). Both rooms are airconditioned and if you shut the place up (I am not sure why you would want to) they will keep the entire unit cool. The pool is a little small (10'x20' or so) but it is about 6' deep. It is a great place to relax when the waves on sandy are up.

The location is ideal. It is within walking distance to 5 great bars / restaurants (tamboo, casa islena, burger bar, escape, pool bar).

Rincon is a fantastic little community. It is very relaxed and laid back. I didnt wear any of the evening clothes i brought. A swim suit and tank top is acceptible for almost anyplace.

While there be sure to take a sunset cruise on the katarina, and take a horse back ride on the beach with pintos r us.

My family of 6 had a wonderful time in this clean, comfortable condo on Sandy Beach. It is located at the far end, and we spent endless hours walking the beach, watching the surfers, and sipping cold beverages on the balcony. As it was our first time in PR, we spent time each day exploring other area beaches but none could compare to Sandy Beach for body surfing, a sandy bottom (no ledge), and peace and quiet. The local pubs, all within a five-minute walk, are excellent--fun, tasty, and plentiful food and drinks for surprisingly little money. At the Rock Bottom, we had the finest burger of our lives and were given directions by two adorable surfer-waiters to "the waterfalls." If you do nothing else, find these near Aguadilla, and go. It is a magical, memorable place. Wear sneakers, though--no flip flops or Crocs.
We also loved the vibe of the Sandy Beach neighborhood. It is a happy, friendly, safe place with locals and tourists mingling on the beach, on the hill, and at the bakery at the top of the street. The hike to the bakery is an aerobic one, but it is worth a bit of the huffing and puffing. The views are spectacular, nature at her most beautiful, and always a jolt of pure pleasure whether on foot or by car.
For a special dining experience, we enjoyed the local tapas restaurant (Casa Islena), The Green Parrot, and brunch at The English Rose. Each offers delicious food, a lovely ambience, and bring-the-camera views.
The only drawback is that the internet was down. The next door neighbors had the local cable company swap out their box, and then we were finally able to use their new network. This is a fixable problem, and one which Jose or Janet has attended to.
I have vacationed all over the Caribbean and was not looking forward to going to Puerto Rico. After one week in Rincon, I honestly can not imagine ever going back to the Cayman Islands or Turks and Caicos. This neighborhood and this condo made me feel at home, and I can't wait to return.

We are a family of 6 and this apartment was great! the 4 boys slept comfortably in the second room with 2 double beds. The Master had an amazing view of the ocean (which is literally your backyard!) Having a washer/dryer was also great for us! Very clean, well maintained unit. Great kitchen - as we cooked many dinners at home. Unfortunately the surf was too big for our boys while we were there- so we had to drive to easier surf about 5-10 minutes away. Nice central location - but a car is key! We loved eating at Shipwrecks and the Lazy Parrot. Zip lining and going to the waterfalls were also highlights of our trip. Jose was a true gentleman and we knew he was there if we needed him. Overall...a trip we will always remember!

We had a great stay at the Sandy Beach apartments. The weather wasn't the best for our week vacation, but the view of the surf was so beautiful we were perfectly content. We loved being able to walk to Tamboo, Rock Bottom, and the Pool Bar for sushi, great location! The condo was in perfect condition, just wish the internet had been working, but it was probably better to be on vacation without it!
Jose was great, even when we were running several hours late there was someone to meet us there with the keys to the condo!

wow this was a perfect location for my friends and i! to the right of the house is sandy beach where some of my friends where able to swim and learn to surf. While to the left a sweet surf break.
the house is self it great, tons of room with spectacular view of the ocean.

This apartment is super comfortable, accesible and the location is one of the best ones especially if you are looking to be beachfront and to hear the sound of the ocean at all times and enjoy the fresh breeze that it brings. It has all the amenities necessary to spend either a short or long vacation time. The proximity to other inland towns makes is so easy to visit other places nearby and enjoy cultural activities and make tourism in the island without long drives or complications. There are restaurants of all types and activities for all ages in Rincon, Puerto Rico!! I would recommend this property to any member of my family, relative or friend. I am planning to come again this year!!
