Great for first time visitors

Spent a week here with my sister. The property is well located. Close the the beach boardwalk (3-5 minutes) and Night Heron Park. The king bed was comfortable and the place was reasonably clean. Although I think a good through cleaning into the corners and the carpet is needed. Along with an upgrade to the bathroom.
Personally, I would not recommend this for 4 people. Sleeping on the sofa bed would not be comfortable.
You need to know the stairs to the first floor unit are steep and there are no hand rails. Free wifi and many TV channels was a great extra. Also 2 bikes were included which we put to great use. The screened porch was made it possible to sit outside in the evening. The unit gets some of the evening sun/shade.
For one night we had some above us and I must say there is very little sound proofing between units. When the units are full it probably is noisy.
Would we stay here again? We would consider it because the price was right and the time of year we went was not busy.
The island is relaxing and the beach can't be beat. Good to know: The drive to Charleston is about 35 minutes but would be challenging driving in the dark.

Wonderful hidden gem at the beach

Absolutely wonderful condo at the beach. We stayed here before our cruise to the Bahamas, and after 3 incredibly relaxing days here we didn't want to leave for the cruise! lol
Fred was wonderful to work with, had no problems with booking and communication, everything was exactly as he told us. The condo has everything you could ever need...it felt like a home away from home. The back screened porch was wonderful for relaxing of a night time with a glass of wine and in the morning with a mug of coffee. The bed was incredible, probably one of the most comfortable ones we have slept on and we travel a lot!
The bikes were an added bonus...we rediscovered a love for biking, nothing like an early morning ride on the beach!
The location for this condo is amazing...really just steps from the beach. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and very highly recommend this condo to anyone wanting to get away. One of the most relaxing weeks ever...will definately be back!

Perfect location

A leisurely 2 minute walk (225 paces) to the beach cannot be beat for this price. We were amazed at the great weather over Thanksgiving holiday, every day was a beach day, sometimes with a sweatshirt, sometimes without. This time of year is nice and quiet too. Took 2 45 minute trips to Charleston for a fancy dinner. Husk and Mccraddy's were great, Husk less formal. The pricey places on Kiawah cannot compare to these and I can't recommend them. FYI, awesome BBQ at Bessinger's worth several trips!! Take your GPS. (it is so good you might want to google it and hit it on your way in And out - it is just past the I526 overpass on Savannah hwy on your way in/out).

Kiawah Aaaaahhhh!

This was an excellent value just a minute literally walk from the beach. Perfect for two, one or two little ones could have stayed on the couch and the screened in porch provided extra space. The two bikes provided were great for riding the beach in the am or evening and the owner provided a ton of info in the condo about the area. Found the back way to Charleston the first day (up Bohicket Road) and went several times to see the Yorktown Aircraft Carrier, the public market, historic downtown, the battery, magnolia gardens and took a carriage ride! Nice to come up from an all day beach day at lunch, cool off and fix lunch. PERFECT location! Also very quiet, wouldn't have wanted a beachside listening to the ocean all night as we are from MN so we probably wouldn't have slept well! Thanks Fred for a great stay! Only missed out on a five star due to a couple of inconveniences that were out of the owners control...

This was one of the most amazing vacations I've ever been on. The location turned out to be better than I imagined....seconds from the beach!! It was quiet and private while having life and activity at my fingertips, when desired.
Everything was clean and provided, including bikes....which was an amazing adventure on it's own. The bike trails were beautiful and riding along the beach was invigorating.
My husband and I attended an oyster shucking at Bohicket Marina, which was a riot! We met so many nice people, it was very afordable, and great music!
Charleston, which I have fallen in love with, is about 40minutes away, but it didn't feel even that far. I believe I made the drive at least once a week for 5 weeks:)
I would recommend this place to anyone and I would love to return, as well. I can't wait to go back!!
