This charming year-round house is in the scenic New England town of Madison Ct. on LI Sound. Our house, at 108 East Wharf Rd,. is in a family neighborhood just steps to East Wharf beach, a life-guarded Long Island Sound beach popular with families and seniors alike. Madison is in the heart of the Ct. Gold Coast, a series of small sea shore towns where boating, beaches, swimming, and restaurants are all in abundance. Day trips to Providence and Newport, Rhode Island as well as Essex Ct., Yale/New Haven and Mystic Seaport and Aquarium are among the local venues. Madison boasts an Arts Cinema and one of America's finest independent book stores, RJ Julia where weekly book reading/signings take place. Madison's town green is the scene of a weekly farmer's market, summer concerts as well as antique shows and flea markets.
OUR RENTAL PERIOD IS A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEK. AS MUCH AS WE LOVE PETS, AS A COURTESY TO OUR RENTERS, WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS OF ANY KIND. WE SLEEP A MAXIMUM OF 6.

Wonderful Madison Beach house

We loved the Madison Beach House. It became a wonderful refuge for us after very busy days in New Haven with our family. The home was presented beautifully and was a quiet cosy cottage where we could relax and recharge again for another busy day.
Our family spent a very happy weekend at Madison going to the beach and visiting local attractions.
The home provided everything we required and was so handy to shopping and the many attractions in the area. The owner of Madison Beach House, Margaret, was very helpful and friendly, providing us with everything required.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely cottage to family and couples as it became our home away from home.

Beautiful Vacation Home

We stayed at this wonderful home for a week and couldn't have been happier with our choice of rental. It is beautifully furnished and everything you could possibly need is here for you. It is half a block to the beach and a five minute drive to the town of Madison. This house was far more than we expected and we definitely will be renting here again in the future.

We absolutely loved it!

Stepping into this beautiful house in Madison was like stepping into the world of "Country Living". Every room was even more beautiful than the pictures online and the owner had everything ready for us when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable, every room soooo lovely and the location almost right on the beach. Wonderful! My husband and I could see the ocean from the bed in the master bedroom. We wanted a place to relax and get away!
Madison and the house in East Wharf Road was perfect for this. And if we wanted to do some shopping there were lots of malls and stores a short ride fra the house. We travelled all the way from Norway to find the perfect house in a perfect place....and we did!
The owners rented us a home...not a house! That's how it felt. We hope to be back and I will defenately reccommend the house to my family and friends. We loved the bookstore in Madison. And the Hammonasset State park. So beautiful there.
So thanks to the owners for sharing their home with us.

Delightful home in Madison,CT

This was absolutely our favorite homeaway rental experience. We stayed for a week during the winter holiday and our family found the house to be beautifully decorated (the owner even put up some Christmas ornaments!), so comfortable and well-stocked with linens and kitchen equipment.
What a location! Water views from every bedroom, a short walk to town and a lovely little backyard in an absolutely charming neighborhood.
The owner was available as needed throughout. We were completely pleased with our experience and we look forward to returning next year.

We enjoyed our stay in Madison immensely. The house was clean, peaceful, spacious, beautifully decorated and the location could not have been better!! It was extremely convenient to the center of Madison and just a very short walk to the beach. The house comes with everything you need and more. We loved everything about it and would definitely stay there again!

Charming Home In Upscale Seaside Town

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming, comfortable, 3 bedroon house, only steps from East Wharf Beach. The home is nicely decorated - and well equipped with everything you could need. There is a large, grassy yard with pretty plantings - and a shaded front porch. Madison is an upscale seaside town, with great boutique shops, including a wonderful book store and a fine arts cinema.

Peaceful vacation!!!!

Our stay at your home was absolutely WONDERFUL! The beach was yards away, allowing us to keep our chairs and setup there while we went home for lunch or snack. Having small children, this vacation was one of our best (and I have lived in Hawaii!) The location was key, yet the house itself was perfect. Clean, welcoming, everything was there, from towels, umbrella and sand toys. The backyard was big and maintained allowing us to grill while the kids played.
Kayaking is available nearby (my six year old and husband went)... with a number of other water activities to introduce children to. And of course the playground on the beach, just five minutes from house!
The neighborhood is peaceful and tranquil. We walked to town each day to find a fantastic book store, library, clothing stores and resturants. The neighbors are great...
On Thursday evening in the summer you may find a local artists play acoustic on the beach while spectators enjoyed a picnic with their families.
I hope to make it tradition to rent this same property each year!
