The place was wonderful. Excellent condition, great hosts. It far exceeded our expectations. Highly reccomend to anyone interested in going to Maine..We plan on going back!

We loved this cozy, clean, well furnished and maintained cottage. The owners were so nice and said if we needed anything to just let them know. It was an ideal location even within walking distance from Shaw's, the beach, gift shop, grocery and ice cream shop. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to my family and friends. Compared to other places in the area it was not super expensive. We had fun in New Harbor (don't miss the old fort, Pemaquid Lighthouse, old cemetery, harbors), Damariscotta, Boothbay, Round Pond, and Monhegan Island - all within driving distance. Lots of scenic places to eat! Took over 1,000 pictures of our wonderful vacation! We were lucky and had perfect weather the whole week!

great experience at the Finch

I recently stayed at the Finch Cottage with my family and we had a wonderful time. The cottage itself was nice, spacious and comfortable with a big yard. The location is ideal as you can walk to key places in all directions; beaches, restaurants, stores, etc. Ron and Belinda were also great hosts, and greeted us with a thoughtful welcome basket and a beautiful bouquet of flowers from the garden. Overall everything was perfect and I look forward to staying there again for many years to come.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
