What a delightful place to stay in the heart of Paris! It is not easy to find an affordable two bedroom pied a terre in an excellent location with the amenities of home, but Luc's townhome certainly fit our needs perfectly. Although our visit occurred during a very cold March, the apartment was always warm and cozy. We appreciated a lovely quiet neighborhood that was within walking distance to most of Paris' central attractions. Museums, Bon March and the Latin Quarter are just 5-15 minutes away. We loved the wonderful La Grande Epicerie with its vast array of food choices! A delicious patisserie is around the corner, and nearby Cafe Varenne should not missed! Luc was a charming host, always friendly, helpful and eager to make us feel at home. I would definitely recommend his home to friends and family. Thank you, Luc and Evelin for making our stay so pleasant!

Staying at this town-house couldn't have been any more of a blessing at the end of our holiday. My friend and I contacted Luc, and from his first speedy response we knew we would be in safe hands. He is the sweetest most accommodating person I have even dealt with!

The townhouse is in a very terrific, safe location with several close metros and shops (Le Grande Epicure- amazing!!!!!).

The townhouse is beautifully authentic and met every one of our needs. The living room was toasty warm in winter with a fabulous fireplace! The bedroom and bathroom were well sized and the home phone was very handy!

The neighbours were also very helpful and friendly. Anyone saying that it didn't live up to their expectations, or that it was deceiving clearly doesn't have a realistic sense of european living!! It's not a hotel - but that is what makes it so beautiful! Being able to immerse yourself in parisian culture is what it's all about!

This house made us feel at home and I will stay here again without a doubt.

As many previous guests have stated, the owner, Luc, is charming, helpful, polite and genuinely a nice person.
However, the description of the property itself is a bit misleading and although the photos show the place as being very charming there are some concerns. For instance, there is no private courtyard area, it is a public space and there are not really "two bedrooms", there is one double bed room (with very poor lighting) and a second room where there is a narrow "day-bed" and the television, stereo and phone. So if the room is being used as a "bedroom" there is no access to the TV and although it says there is a bathroom in this 2nd bedroom the shower is like a space capsule and would not suit anyone over 80 kilos (the same as the bed).
The main bedroom had a terrible cold draft coming from the fireplace and the heated towel rack never worked in the bathroom off this room. As we were staying in winter it was a very cold bedroom and bathroom.
The sitting area and "fireplace" are the best features and the kitchen has everything to make your stay comfortable. The apartment is in a fabulous location to get to anything and to use the metro. I'm sure the concerns I have raised will be addressed by the lovely owner however if you are booking this place to use 2 bedrooms the person (it can only be one person) using the 2nd room must be small.

What a wonderful place to stay in Paris. The four of us (my wife and I, plus our 22 year old daughter and her friend) thoroughly enjoyed spending New Year in Paris at Luc's home. What a great place to return “home” to each day, we loved every minute of our stay.

Luc’s home is a short walk to 3 metro lines. We used the metro extensively to see as much of Paris as we could, including being on the Champs-Elysees to welcome in the New Year, what an experience!

If you love to cook, visit the Raspail Organic Market on Sunday morning. We were able to buy the most amazing ingredients, including organic chicken, and made a great meal at the apartment.

The Carrefour was just a few block away, who knew you could buy great French wine for less than 15 Euros there. We enjoyed great wine every night at the apartment without breaking the bank.

Last, it was great comfort meeting Evelyne at the apartment on arrival. The apartment was spotless and perfect for two couples or a small family. We won’t hesitate staying at Luc’s again.

We enjoyed our stay at Luc's place very much. The location was great and allowed us to see so much of Paris! What we really liked was the quiet neighborhood that made it feel like we were really home at the end of a long day of visiting all the sights. The apartment was perfect for the four of us (2 adults, 2 8 year olds) and had everything we needed to be comfortable and warm (the fireplace was great)! Luc sent us so much information ahead of time that we knew exactly where to go and how to get there. He really did a great job of making the process as smooth and easy as possible! Our favorite place for petit dejeuner was a small walk to Boulanger Les Invalides..and our favorite take away for dinner was Grande Epicerie. We loved walking to the Eiffel Tower at sunrise and the Musee Rodin is one street away. Although the metro is easy to use and closeby, we did walk most days to enjoy as much of Paris as possible.

We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a very well maintained accomodation in a beautiful neighborhood.

We stayed here, my sister and I, for four days in October of 2012. Luc's apartment is great: well-furnished with everything you need. Two separate bedrooms and each has a private bathroom, in a clean and quiet location. Excellent Wifi connection. Evelyne was waiting for us on the evening of our arrival, and was very helpful in the visit of the apartment. Luc provides superb service, and we even had fresh fruit and food waiting for us! Don't even think twice about coming here: this is a great option which beats a hotel in every category. I will be back.

We and our friends have just enjoyed such a memorable holiday, we were so fortunate in our choice of apartment as it is so convenient for all the major attractions and close to the metro if needed. The apartment was ideal for two couples as the bedrooms each have their own facilities, the kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to cook but nearby there are a variety of restaurants if you wished to eat out. The lounge area was comfortably furnished and was so welcoming to come "home" after a day visiting the sites. Luc was so helpful and provided much information to make the most of your stay to ensure it would be enjoyable.Eveline maintained the apartment and again ensured that we had everything we required and was very pleasant. We would definately recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Paris and so pleased that we did.

I'm not sure whether it was the neighborhood (convenient, lovely, quiet), the time of year (gorgeous summer weather) or Luc, but in any case all three combined to make this a really wonderful place to stay. There are four of us in my family, my husband and me and our two 14-year old sons. The apartment was the perfect size for us to sleep comfortably and also have a spot for a family dinner or breakfast. We all have different sleep schedules, but the layout worked well because the bedrooms are dark and have great soundproof doors. The skylight in the main room makes even a rainy day light and warm. Luc was helpful and generous, meeting us at the apartment to explain how everything worked and bringing us a fresh baguette from the nearby bakery. He even emailed me a note in French to give the taxi driver to ensure we found the apartment from the train station. The instructions Luc left in the apartment answered all of our questions. The apartment is clean and well maintained. There is a small market two doors down and a larger grocery store nearby. Many wonderful Paris sights are within walking distance. A sampling of the activities we enjoyed while staying here:

-- jog to the Eiffel tower in the morning
-- walk to the Musee d'Orsay with a stop at a bakery nearby for lunch that we ate on the front steps at the museum
-- bike ride to the Notre Dame cathedral on a Velib bike that we rented 2 blocks from the apartment
-- early dinner at a cafe nearby

In summary, I recommend this rental without reservation.
