Lake Winter is a medium sized lake known for its great fishing. It is rated as a Class A Musky lake. Many nice musky, walleye, bass and pan fish will keep you busy. It is a clean lake for good swimming and is not busy with speed boats or jetski's. Perfect for pontooning & fishing boats. You'll see Eagles, loons, heron, ducks and along shore, deer, fox, otters, beaver...you just never know what you'll see from one day to the next!

Sawyer County is known as the 'GOLF CAPITAL of Wisconsin'. There are two great courses within 10 minutes of the vacation home.

Feel like a road trip? Take a 30 minute scenic drive through the North Woods to visit the Hayward area. Well known for its world class events, great shops and attractions.

Or, just over an hour away from Lake Superior, take a trip towards the 'Big Lake'. Stop to see some awesome waterfalls along the way. (We have information provided).

Mike and Lisa of 'Windsor's Vacation Home Rentals' own and operate the 'Lakeview' and 'Musky Waters' vacation homes on Lake Winter and also manage the 'View' on crystal clear Round Lake and the 'Hideaway' on Barker Lake.

We take great care in providing well maintained properties and doing all we can in making sure your vacation is all you hoped for. ( and then some.) Our stay there was awesome!! We had the best time and Mike and Lisa were great hosts!! The house was so nice and clean and had everything there you need. We loved the ATV trails and had a great time!! We definitely recommend anyone to stay here!!

Mike & Lisa are friendly and hospitable. House was beautiful, excellent view. Peaceful area. It was a home away from home. Good fishing, despite the unseasonable weather. Great for those who want to relax and fish. We recommend Windsor Vacation rentals to everyone!!

Awesome time and place

We have an "awesome" time when we stay at Windsor's Vacation Rentals. We are never bored there. We can fish. Most of us love to fish and the grandsons do from sun up til sunset. They even fish in the rain. We can bring our four wheelers and hit the trails. There are good trails there. We don't have good trails to ride on where we live, so it is super that we can ride on the trails up there. Friends and family can visit us and we can fish, go four wheeling or sit by the campfire(It is one of our favorite things to do!) We recommend Windsor's Vacation Rentals to friends and family. The accomidations are great..everything we need to stay is there for us. We only really have to bring food and beverages. The boats, pontoons, paddleboats and kayaks are fun for all. Even if it rains, they have games for us to play or TV to watch. We look forward to going back year after year!
