Charming, cozy getaway

I stayed here for the entire week and couldn't have asked for a more comfortable, charming accommodation and the most welcoming and warm hosts, Jim and Sandy. The listing description was extremely accurate and the cottage was as lovely as the photos portrayed it. The accommodation contained all that I needed in terms of amenties and I especially enjoyed the the coffee pods and selection of teas available to me. I enjoyed having a freshly brewed coffee almost every morning. The cottage was spotless and simple touches of towels, soap and hand soap made it feel like home. Once I got familiar with the area and driving around, I couldn't believe how close I was to the airport (15 min.), shopping malls (10 min.), nearby eateries (5-10 min. away). I appreciated Jim and Sandy's recommendations for sights and eateries like the Taco Bus- the food was inexpensive and so delicious! I had mentioned to Jim and Sandy that it was my birthday that week and had asked for recommendations on how to spend the day. They gave me several ideas and finally I decided on a day trip to Sanibel Island. What really made it special was Jim taking the time to find me a quaint little fish restaurant along the way he thought I would enjoy (giving me a print out of it) and presenting me with a birthday muffin and card from the two of them. Thank you for your thoughtfulness- meant so much to me! Also thoroughly enjoyed a slice of homemade chocolate cake made by their daughter. Can't forget to mention my last night there when Jim and Sandy took me to see the owls at night who nested on their property with Jim using his cell phone to play the owl call! That was so special! Thank you for making my stay so memorable and unforgettable. I will definitely be recommending this place to all my friends. Thoroughly enjoyed myself and can't wait to visit again!

From the moment we stepped out of the car we knew we were going to love this little cottage. It was so lovely and inviting. It was quiet and quaint but we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Sandy and Jim were especially nice and very friendly. We enjoyed visiting with them so much. Everything was close by..shopping, dining and many other things to do. Everything was centrally located and easy to get to. Thanks to Jim and Sandy for making the stay so memorable and being such wonderful hosts. We can't wait to come back again sometime!

My husband and I stayed at this funky, comfortable studio while visiting my parents for Christmas. It was perfect for our needs-- comfortable, extremely clean, in a quiet residential neighborhood, well managed by friendly people who respected our privacy, and reasonably priced. We will definitely stay here on our next Tampa visit!

We spent the entire summer there and it was wonderful. Great location, friendly folks and very comfortable. It was like a home away from home for us. My grandchildren loved visiting Nana in her little cottage.

We can't say enough wonderful things about this rental. We liked it so much we came back for a second stay. It is a no frills place, but we love it's quirky feel and eclectic decor. It has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. The location is ideal if you want to visit central Florida. The beaches, Sarasota, Tampa International Airport and the Orlanda attractions are all close and easy to get to. The neighborhood is very nice, quiet and we felt very safe. Plus it's a bargain. We checked into hotels in the area the first time and they were all much more expensive. What a find! We highly recommend it and will definitely stay again!

Cute little cottage. The people are very nice and helpful. Quiet neighborhood, easy to get to. No frills, but very comfortable and clean. Cable TV, A.C., fridge, and microwave. Would be nice to have a sink in the kitchen area, but not vital. The price, the fact that there's no cleaning fee, and no damage deposit make it an easy rental that's very affordable in an expensie market! We'll use it again on our next visit.

Nice Vacation Rental

My wife and I stayed here during the month of January 2011. The cottage is ideally located; 15 minutes from downtown Tampa and no more than ten minutes from the causeway that connects Tampa to St. Petersburg and Clearwater. The theme parks in Orlando are approximately 90 minutes away by freeway. The cottage is located behind the main house in a nice suburban neighborhood and met our needs nicely.

The Moores who rented the property to us were extremely thoughtful and went out of their way to make our vacation stay a success. Karen and I recommend this rental without any reservations.

The studio is very nice and in a quiet secluded neighborhood in South Tampa. Very quiet and clean and great for someone who is looking for a quiet getaway. Easy access to shopping and nice restaurant. The best part of my experience is that I have made new friends (Jim and Sandy who are very friendly and always helpful and welcoming). I highly recommend this place
