This cozy four bedroom, two bath cottage is just a half a minute walk to beautiful North Beach! Located in Monroe Park. A ten minute walk to downtown South Haven. Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Great golf courses near by. All the amenities of home. An awesome place to make memories with your family and friends! Almost forgot to mention the most unbelievable sunsets, a must see.

Charming Yellow Cottage in South Haven

We have been vacationing for the last 22 years every 4th of July week in South Haven. For the past 10+ years we have rented the charming yellow cottage located just off Lake Shore Drive.
This cottage offers everything you could want from a clean workable kitchen to comfortable bedrooms, a rooftop deck overlooking beautiful Lake Michigan and air conditioning. This also has a nice patio area which is nice for family gatherings as well as many card games throughout the day.
You are just a short walk, or if you prefer taking a bike to downtown, either going by the harbor, through the park, and across the bridge. You will love the downtown area; restaurants, shopping, and a nice night life are at your door.
As for the public beach, your family will love it, a very short walk of 50 yards, and you are there. It is very clean with lots of action, especially on the weekend, and a little quieter during the week.
The owners are very helpful and are around if you need any assistance. We love this place and this west shoreline area.

Great Times!

We had spent time in South Haven in the past but this was our first experience in renting a house there. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay! The house comfortably accommodated our large group, two families of four. The house was very clean and well maintained and we felt very at home. I'm an early riser and I would enjoy my morning coffee peacefully sitting on the second story deck before everyone else got up. In the evenings, we played games around the table in the back. It's nice and close to town for shopping and dining out. But the proximity to that beautiful beach is the best part! Spending the day at the beach and returning to watch the sunsets, what better way to spend a vacation!

Great Family Vacation

Our family has stayed in this cottage twice, and we could not have been happier with our vacations. The cottage is in a prime location close to the beach. We would hang out at the beach, return to the cottage for lunch, and head back to the beach. We have walked into town several times for shopping and to go to the movies, but we have yet to dine out in South Haven, preferring to eat on the deck of the cottage with the spectacular views.
The cottage itself is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were very pleased with all of the amenities. We would strongly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great family vacation.

Couldn't Be Better!!!

My wife and I along with our two young children had the wonderful pleasure of staying at this fantastic vacation home in June, 2010. It was our first time in South Haven and we couldn't have asked for better accommodations. Quite simply, this home was just perfect! It's extremely clean, comfortably furnished, tastefully decorated, very spacious and obviously well-cared for. We immediately felt "at home" upon our arrival, and that feeling remained throughout our entire stay.
Its location couldn't be any better! Aside from being extremely convenient to the beach and water, we also enjoyed its proximity to town. We took daily walks along the water as well as to town for its restaurants, ice cream parlors, shops, etc. There were always lots for us to do and it was all within walking distance to the home's location. Being a bit of a fisherman, I particularly appreciated how easy it was to be at the water's edge with a line in even when I only had a few spare minutes between family activities. Once we unloaded the car, I don't think we used it again for anything until we packed it up to leave!
In addition, this home provided plenty of space for me to set up my laptop in order to stay connected with work. The connection speeds were great and I was able to return to my family before they even knew I was working.
I can't say enough about how wonderful this home truly is. I recommend it without reservation to anyone seeking a vacation home in the area. My family and I look forward to our returning this summer!!!
