This private post and beam cottage is only 2 miles from Rockport harbor & 3 miles from Camden harbor, and only minutes from Goose River Golf Course and the Camden Snow Bowl. Accommodation is on three floors and provides 2 queen sized bedrooms, 1 Std. Futon bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with granite counters Amenities include a gas grille, deck, working log fireplace, WiFi , LCD TV, DVD, stereo, washer and dryer.

My family and I highly recommend this property having just returned from a seventeen-day stay.
Peter our host was very professional from the outset, responding quickly and efficiently to my many questions.
The house has a lovely homely feel to it. It is impressively larger than the pictures portray. The sprawling lounge area on the ground floor proved to be a perfect haven for our two daughters, with cable TV and free wifi. The basement laundry room hosted a ‘giant’ (compared to the UK) washer and tumble dryer, which we made full use of.
Situated on a quiet lane surrounded by woods, we enjoyed lots of pleasant walks from the house all around the area. Rockport and Camden are minutes away by car, as is a large supermarket.
We travelled easily around Maine and into New Hampshire. New England is a very special place. The foliage was spectacular.
If you’re looking for a property with a touch of quality, convenient located, clean and tidy with a perfect host, you’ve just found it!

What a wonderful vacation home. I have been meaning to write this review for several months and just need to share what a great home this was. It looks even better in person then it did in the photos. We are a family of four with a teenager and a toddler. We had plenty of space and privacy for all. We were in town for a family reunion and had ample room for a large gathering one evening, as well. The owners were right around the corner if we needed them, yet left us to our own. We loved that it was removed from the crowds, quiet and peaceful- yet close enough to Rockland, Camden and Thomaston where other family members were staying. We highly recommend this cottage and look forward to a return visit.

Love this place !We had a event in nearby rockland and needed a place to stay for 5 with two dogs.This place was perfect..Plenty of room for all of us over 3 floors.Everything you can possibly need in the kitchen and very comfy beds.The location is great too.Very clean!Peter was very easy to deal with.Would not hesitate to stay here again

Super Cute, private House with garden, patio and cookout area. Minutes away from Rockport and Camden. Beautiful rambles in any direction. I took my kids and they loved it. We can't wait to go back. Peter and Christine are just around the corner if you ever need anything.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. The house was perfect for us and just as nice as it appears in the photos. We were not disappointed at all. Camden is just a couple of minutes away and we took advantage of the great restaurants and shops. The weather wasn't the greatest and we are very much looking forward to returning during the warmer season. Thank you Peter!!

My family rented this charming home for four nights in November. We came up the day before Thanksgiving and left the Sunday after. The owner Peter was a joy to work with very friendly and always got back to us right away when ever asked a question. We were impressed on how much we felt right at home when we entered the house. It was spotless from top to bottom. It was everything and even more than shown on the website. We are looking forward to staying here again.
