This home is superb for a family vacation. Room dimensions, kitchen, the way the house flows all really conducive to having a great time. Location is perfect as its away from the busy hub of activity but close to all the great areas of Bend.

Great place. We had a very nice time while staying here and skiing on Mt Bachelor. Close to everything, nice view of river and house is spacious, modern and very comfortable for the 6 of us. Home was exactly as advertised .Definitely will stay here again if we visit Bend again in the future.

Had a great time in this great Craftsman home. Brad gave us an terrific early season deal which added to a great experience. Walked down the street to 10 Barrel Brewing for a great meal & the flight of beer- excellent. Had rest of meals at home as the kitchen was well equipped & what better view could be had than from the dining room. Really enjoyed the hot tub after skiing. It was just two of us so we look forward to another trip with family- the pool/game room upstairs will be great for that!

We love this house. The location is perfect, the house is fantastic and we'll be back. This is the second time we have rented the Harmon House in Bend. We have recommended it to our friends and they are coming to stay this winter. Thanks Brad for being such a good host!

The home was incrediable! It was everything advertised and more! The home was well furnished and was well layed out. It was located just a few blocks from Ten Barrel Brewing and Drake Park.

I highly recomend this home, it was an exceptional value.

We had a group of six between age 30-65 that stayed for a long weekend. The home is nice, plenty of space for people to spread out, and the location is pretty hard to beat. The three bedrooms were good size, and there was a pull out couch in upstairs bonus room. One the surface, and what we used the home for, it was fine. But after closer examination of the home, there are many maintenance items the owners have neglected. Not what one would expect for paying this much per night. We couldn't even use the propane BBQ after spending time and money to refill the tank ourselves. Cabinet doors are falling off in the kitchen. The floors were dirty when we arrived. We had to wash the bed linens in one room because they were visibly still dirty. Counter top tiles have fallen off in the bonus room. The hot tub was lacking chemicals and dirty when we opened it the first night. There is a sauna that is off the master bedroom deck, but can't be used because someone has damaged the controls so badly the unit is melted, and black smoke stains are visible from an outlet on the wall. Total fire hazard! The list goes on. I was looking forward to writing a stellar review and overlooking the maintenance issues. Our time in Bend was great, and staying in this prime location and "upscale" home was what our party is accustomed to. However, after receiving an email from the owner accusing our group of single handedly destroying his home, it is important to warn future potential renters. We took great care with his home, and spent time before leaving to clean. We were even looking forward to renting this home again next year. As sad as I am to look elsewhere, at least we won't be dealing with this owner again!

We recently stayed 4 nights at the Harmon House for a birthday celebration and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home directly on the river in Bend. Morning sun lights up the river-side reading room and deck, and though it's brisk outside the 4 gas fireplaces around the house keep you cozy. Ducks and geese on the water, otters swimming by, and an incredible full moon enjoyed on the lower deck near the water. The hot tub is in a nice location in the yard, though we couldn't get it to heat to more than bathwater temps. We enjoyed the use of the gourmet kitchen for making great meals, and the covered outdoor grill is a perfect complement. I would suggest adding a couple of newer, larger pans for cooking for 6-8, what's there is a bit on the small side. Skied Mt. Bachelor by day, enjoyed First Friday Art Walk in town, and the easy stroll to downtown Bend's shops and restaurants via Drake Park. Best dinner outside our own kitchen is at Zydeco on Bond St., high quality and impeccable service too. The house is a mere 3 blocks away from a fireside beer at 10 Barrel Brewing, and be sure to visit the Broken Top Bottle Shop too for a nice selection of microbrews and good food. The house is quiet despite being near a busy intersection, and the neighbor was nice enough to drop by and offer us the use of his kayaks and paddles to complement the one at the house. The pool table runs true, though we could not do it justice with our play. Beds were all comfortable with good linens, our friends reported a great night's sleep. We'll return to this house again for it's ability to accommodate 3 couples quite happily.
