The lodge provided the perfect backdrop for our non-profit group weekend retreat. We had 21 people and everything still felt spacious. Because the entire property is secluded, it really felt like our own place and helped with our team bonding activities. It was also great being able to explore and go back-and-forth between the main lodge, barn, firepit, & bar/poolhouse. Dottie was so helpful with everything and super sweet. I highly recommend this rental.

19 of us gathered for a reunion of college buddies (we're about 20 years out of college). We found the lodge on the Internet and figured it was worth a shot--can't beat the price! We're soooooo glad we ended up here. Dottie, the owner, is great; the lodge is cozy and fun; the kitchen is a fantastic place to cook, and the grounds are gorgeous. We'll definitely be going back!

On behalf of my family, I'd like to thank you for accommodating us on such a short notice. This place was just stunning, clean and well maintained. We had such a wonderful time. After ongoing chemo treatments for my mother, this was a much needed get away. The serenity and surroundings made us all happy. My mothers happiness was priceless. We will be returning and will recommend to everyone.

I recently rented the Oak Creek Ranch for a long weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday with family and friends and had a fantastic experience there.

Dottie was a great host ... she promptly answered our many questions about the property before we arrived, gave us a detailed tour when we got there, and then left us to enjoy the weekend in complete privacy.

The property -- which includes four buildings (two of which are rented separately) -- comfortably slept all of our guests, which ranged in number between 12-34 over the course of the weekend. A subset of this group has a tradition of celebrating Thanksgiving together and we have rented many homes surrounding the SF bay area over the years ... Oak Creek Ranch is now one of our favorites, and definitely provided the most spacious accommodations. We thought the rental rate was reasonable, the rooms were clean, and the house had everything we needed (including a great griddle in the kitchen for making breakfast). It really is an ideal setting for a casual gathering of family, friends, or co-workers.

The surroundings are beautiful ... there are hiking trails over the rolling green hills right on the property that everyone really enjoyed. We saw tons of deer, rabbits, and even heard coyotes howling at night! And the drive there (from San Francisco), was very easy ... and very scenic once you're off the highway.

Overall, a great experience ... and we're already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks Dottie!

Our group of doctors had an absolutely fantastic time at the Oak Creek Ranch. Every promise made was delievered with dividends. The Lodge is incredible, we only wish that we had more time to take advantage of all the activities that were offered! The kitchen was amazing, and the main fireplace made group bonding effortless. The property is beautiful as well. The hikes were refreshing and the deer and other wildlife we ran into served as icing on the cake. We would definitely choose to come here again! We had a wonderful stay at Oak Creek Ranch! Your place is lovely and we made use of all the facilities. Even with such a diverse group – from three one year olds to our 95 year-old father – there was plenty to do and see. The bunnies were a big hit with the babies and they came out every morning like clockwork to entertain us! ….We took walks almost every night to see the sun set and to explore the property. We also used the pool every day and enjoyed the break from the heat. It did cool off every evening and stayed comfortable until around 11 each morning. It was incredible to have all the property to ourselves. Thanks again for making your place available.

My family of 23 loved our week at the Lodge at Oak Creek Ranch! Bedrooms and bathrooms in the Lodge and the Big Red Barn provided plenty of space for us all. We loved the versatility of the living room. Several sitting areas allowed different activities to take place at the same time, but with minimal reorganization, we could all sit in one group when we wanted to have a single discussion or play a game together. I can't remember any other reunion venue where our large family could be seated in the same room at the same time. We didn't have the luxury of Dottie's cooking as described by other reviewers, but the kitchen was well set-up for guest usage. The huge outdoor pool was also well set-up with everything we needed to enjoy it. Having such a large property all to ourselves was a treat indeed. Our stay exceeded our expectations!

The setting, the nature, the atmosphere, the food, the hospitality and foremost Dottie herself made our and my stay in Oak Creek Ranch and the Coaching Excel workshop an unforgettable experience, almost mythical. Dottie, you are unparalleled!
