Jay Peak Slopeslide Lodging. A warm welcome to the Tram Haus. Our five-year old grandson, Liam, named our condo several years ago standing on the balcony watching the tram travel up and down to the peak. We are selling the condo because we are retiring. If you have interest call Jay Peak resort Real Estate and Joan McAllister.

If you remember the old Jay Peak, you will be delighted to find the new Jay Peak Resort truly a four season resort now.

The Tram Haus backs up onto the ‘Queens Highway’ ski run, so you can put your boots on in the condo, walk downstairs to the ski locker, put on your skis and ski down to the Aerial Tramway, the High Speed Metro Quad Chair or the Green Mountain Flyer which will get you anywhere on the mountain. A short 2 minute walk (or ski) downhill will bring you to the Pump House or Ice Haus, restaurants and ski shop. We hope you enjoy the condo and the resort as much as we do. We think we have one of the most convenient locations on the Resort. We invite you to come and see why Ski Magazine calls Jay Peak “the Jackson Hole of the Northeastern United States.” With more snow than any other resort in New England, the only tram in Vermont, and outstanding glade skiing, Jay Peak is truly a skiiers dream.

The tram runs year round and a trip to the top on a clear, sunny day is an awesome sight. Since it is the highest peak in the area, you can see Lake Champlain and New York to the west; Lake Memphremagog and far into Canada to the north and east; Stowe mountain and the Green Mountain chain to the south. Take the tram and a picnic lunch and your camera and spend some time there, then walk down on one of the many trails for a day you won’t forget.

Play the Graham Cooke designed 18 hole championship golf course with it’s awe-inspiring views of the Peak and beautiful mountain terrain, natural streams, woods and wildlife. Enjoy lunch at the clubhouse restaurant or drinks at the bar. Pro shop on-site.

Our cozy newly decorated condo offers two bedrooms, one with queen bed and the other with twins. A fold out sofa in the living room provides sleeping comfort for two more. Our gas fireplace keeps the unit cosy and warm. Located overlooking Queens Highway, it’s only a short run from the front door to the tram house, lifts and beginners area. We’re so close you can make the first tracks on the mountain, then come in for lunch in private comfort.

All you need to bring is your own sports gear and food to cook in our fully outfitted kitchen with all appliances, cookware, dishes and flatware. TV/DVD, DSL Internet, movies, books and games for entertainment; bed linens, towels, kitchen linens and paper goods all provided for your convenience.

Other amenities include private locked ski locker, gas fireplace, and washer/dryer, blender, toaster and toaster oven.

Our family of four found this sunny condo to be perfect for our 2-night ski vacation. We wish we could have stayed longer! It is very clean, modern, well-equipped, with many windows and lovely views. The living room balcony overlooks the Queens Highway trail which provides very easy ski-in/ski-out. Owner Ken provided a smooth and pleasant reservation process. We had fabulous skiing on fresh powder at Jay Mt. and our teens enjoyed the new indoor water park. Highly recommend this condo! We hope to stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay @ the Tramhouse. It is exactly as advertised with the exception that it was much more cozy than we had believed. The location is perfect for ski on and ski off and also walking to the lodge for dinner/apre ski!! The condo was super clean and very well stocked with kitchen supplies and towels. Looking forward to renting next year hopefully longer.

I could not have asked for a better time. No need to wake up early to get ready for the slopes. The condo skis right on to the tram haus. A few friends were able to wake up at our leisure have breakfast, a few "irish" coffees and get the ski day started. Awesome fire place, comfortable seating in the living room, comfortable beds, and even a ski bench at the front door to take off what is sure to be powder covered clothing from jay's PERFECT conditions. The kitchen is big enough for thanksgiving dinner! We sat in the living room looking out the sliding doors, watching skiiers fly by, that's how close you are. A ski locker is outside to store your stuff too! The property owners are a couple awesome people. They were quick to respond to my emails, and even met us at the condo to settle us in. If you are a family or a small group, this property is an absolute gem, located on what is without a doubt the best mountain in the east. We will definitely be coming back! Do yourself the favor.....

4-Season, Easy-Access-to-Everything Beautiful Condo

We have stayed in this particular condo a few times and are always thoroughly happy with our stay. The unit is well-appointed with everything you could need, from salt&pepper and coffee filters, to books and movies, to a washer/dryer and extra pillows and blankets. The decor is updated, comfortable and very clean with ulta-cool vintage ski posters and perfect lounging furniture beside the gas fireplace to warm your bones after a long day on the slopes. The real draw, of course, is the ski-in, ski-out convenience of being right on Queen's Highway! Walk out back, pop on your skis and you are on your way right to the main gondola and lifts. You can watch early birders and last-run fanatics zoom down Queen's Highway from the family room, kitchen or dining room! We have had the pleasure of a summer visit as well, and it is an easy 5-minute walk down to the Jay Hotel, the golf course or the hockey rink. Can't wait until our next return to try out the new water park with the kids and the spa! If you are looking for comfort, convenience and a great deal for your money, this is the condo to stay in!
