What a great place! After traveling the whole island I don't think there's a better spot to stay than Sugar Beach. Beats west Maui and south shore. Close to everything, yet uncongested with a great beach. Walk north to the preserve, or south to Kihei - it's all yours. This particular unit has to be one of the nicest in the complex. Top floor - right on the water's edge. Open the sliding patio doors in the morning and it's like you're all alone on a desert island. The owners have tastefully decorated with nice furniture and decor. And if you're there in whale season you could just sit on the lanai all day with your binoculars and watch hundreds of whales in the bay. If we return to Hawaii this will definitely be our first choice to stay.

We had a wonderful time at your beautiful condo. Your place is very comfortable and the view ,well what can I say, amazing. We totally enjoyed morning and evening walks on the beach. The location was perfect to everything we wanted to do. We hope to return earlier on to see the whales run, the balcony seems like the perfect spot for that. We want to thank you again for opening up your home to us -it shows that it is truly a home. Loved the decor. Thanks again!

Beautiful Sugar Beach

The descriptions of the unit are very accurate. The property is very clean and well-maintained. The kitchen is fully furnished. The bed is very comfortable and the linens are nice. We were very comfortable during our stay. This top floor unit gives a great view of the passing whales. Be sure to take binoculars with you for up close viewing! The pool and spa are very nice and the beautiful sandy beach is great for long walks. The units are very well insulated so there is no noise from adjourning units.

This Unit has a wonderful view.

The pictures on the VRBO site are accurate but the view is even more awesome. We spent a lot of time on the Lanai soaking up the view.
The unit is like new with central A/C and a fully equipped kitchen. It is very well maintained and very clean inside. Dealing with the owners was easy and they responded promptly. It has an inside washer and dryer, so pack lightly. There are two beach towels and two ice chests in the unit, so don’t bring them. We spit our breakfasts between eating there and eating at the Kihei Caffe that serves great food. We also recommend Mama’s Fish House for a special occasion (make reservations). For the best fish tacos, drive to Paia and get them at the Paia Fish Market.
You can rent snorkels and fins (by the week) right at the resort. You can snorkel right in front of the condos in the morning, but you need to swim a way out to the reef.
There is much better snorkeling to be found nearby at Kamaole Park I,II & III around the rocky ends of the beaches.
We spent some time in the spa and pool at the resort and the facilities are perfect.
We enjoyed our 10 day stay in this unit and would recommend it to anyone.
We will be back.
