We had an awesome time at Mystic Moonfor 10 days. The listing was completely accurate. We've stayed in the area several times. The view was the best we've ever had. Had some snow which was beautiful. Really enjoyed the hottub & wood fireplace. Used the fireplace alot & had plenty of wood. We had everything we needed at the cabin. Mary Ann was great to deal with. Visited Cades Cove again. Saw plenty of wildlife. Always enjoy that. Thanks Mary Ann & Bruce for letting us share you're cabin.

WHAT A VIEW!!! We have been visiting the area for over 20 yrs. & have never seen the Smoky Mountains like we saw them from the porches of Mystic Moon. Once we arrived, we just stood there for a few minutes speechless at the beauty before us. We had a panoramic view, yet the mountains seemed closer than we had ever seen them before. The pictures of the mountains provided are beautiful, but nothing can compare with seeing for yourself. Our views ended up being better there than the hazy day at Clingman's Dome! The mountains took on different qualities every day. It was nice to be at a chalet on level ground and not sitting on stilts like some other places we have seen in the mountains. Having a screened in porch was also a nice feature, especially around sunset. Before booking, we were a little concerned about the possibility of a steep mountain road (thanks to a previous experience) but had no trouble going back & forth numerous times. The road itself was paved & smooth, with only the last few seconds being gravel. I will say to closely follow the directions provided, because if you miss the turn onto the gravel portion that's right at the chalet, you will hit the STEEP part of the mountain road. We only made that mistake once! (though not due to the detailed directions provided, but to the desire of my driver to finally reach our destination after many hours in the car!) I also second the idea of initially arriving before dark to get your sense of direction. We really enjoyed that town was just a few minutes away, yet the area around the chalet was quite peaceful, even though there were some other guests on the same road. We still felt like we were the only people there. The internet connection was great & a nice feature to have when we needed to check on something. I will say that my whole family agreed we got much more than we paid for, and the value was definately an answer to prayer. I can't say enough about all my contact with the owners, Mary Ann especially. She is really such a sweet person, & she made the whole experience effortless. She always promptly answered my questions & was completely transparent, even checking on us to make sure we arrived okay & had what we needed. All in all, my family agreed this was the best trip we have had to the area, & we don't know if we could ever top the view! We would love to visit again!

My wife and I visited in May. Weather was perfect, cabin was awesome and we had a great time. Cabin is clean, all you need is right there, the views were out of this world. Peace and quiet at it's finest . Owners were great and easy to work with. Can't wait to go back!!

For our first visit to Pigeon Forge, this cabin was awesome! The view was breath taking, the convenience to everything was awesome. Everything we needed was supplied at the cabin and made our stay effortless! We would have liked a bit better grill, but that was the least of things we even thought about while we were there! Plenty of space, clean, and a real feeling of home made it perfect!

It was awesome. The owner was very kind and gave us such a great deal.The place was very clean. The views were awesome! My husband finally relaxed! Thank you for the memories.

I stayed at Mystic Moon with my family in early spring. The views were incredible-absolutely breathtaking. We were fortunate enough to see beautiful sunrises and sunsets every day, and on our last day there we saw a double rainbow arcing across the valley from mountaintop to mountaintop. It was an experience to see an eagle-from above it! With two decks, you get not only better views, but depending on the weather be sheltered or exposed to breezes or sun no matter the time of day. As for the house itself, we were quite comfortable and everything we needed besides food and clothing was provided. The kitchen and living room are a nice size; and having a pool table and hot tub is great when you're in for the night. We felt like we were very far from town, but it was really a short drive. Mary Ann is a very nice lady and was extremely helpful. I will certainly stay here on any future vacations to the area.
