You will have a 180 degree view which reaches from the Coronado Islands in Mexico to the night time lights of downtown San Diego. You can sit on your private balcony and view gorgeous sunsets, have morning coffee watching the early morning surfers and the dolphins playing in the waves. Relax and fall asleep with the sound of the waves.

We chose this place because we could see our kids on the beach from the apartment. The apartment was simple, clean, and well-maintained. Check-in and out was easy. Walking distance to good, family-friendly restaurants. View of the beach in both directions as far as the eye can see.

The beach is great for children, flat with shallow waves and calm surf. Nice sized beach. The lifeguards were constantly patrolling. No alcohol allowed on the beach. The pier makes a nice walk, with no-license fishing. Equipment is available to rent. The atmosphere of Imperial Beach is mellow and friendly. We will definitely stay there again!
