Casa Morada is nestled up on a rain forest hillside, 200 meters off the main Pacific coast highway and a 10 minute walk to Hermosa Beach. Views include ocean, mountains, rain forrest, abundant tree and plant life, Macaws (giant parrots), Tucans, and occasional monkeys.
You are located just minutes away from Jaco where there is a wide variety of shops, restaurants, banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, and night life.

We live in the mountain national forest of Santa Fe New Mexico. Though we love the mountains and the snow, we are also drawn to the world's beaches. We found Costa Rica, with the friendly people, and the beautiful coastlines, mostly uncommercialized, to be our favorite getaway.
Costa Rica has so much to offer, you have to find a place that centers you in the middle of it all. We found Hermosa Beach just that place. Casa Morada is a a short ten minute walk to the very beach where the World Championship Surfing Tournament is held, but is tucked in to the foot hills where cool breezes blow. All is within a short reach; canopy tours, waterfalls, restaurants, shopping, beaches, mountains, turtle refuge, and wildlife sanctuaries. The estate is covered with palm trees and abundant local plant life that gives you the sense of privacy you are looking for. Fully secure private gated entrance, housekeeper available, night security, pool, verandas, king beds, private bathrooms, views of the ocean, mountains, and lush rain forest, will draw you deep into the Costa Rican mood.
mornings drinking coffee waiting for the macaws to fly over, early evenings a glass of wine with the macaws coming back. Middays at the private pool. Security is very important to us and is provided at this home. Watching the enormous bulls across the street is amazing, especially when they fight, this is a Costa Rican "feel" home.

Great Stay
Thanks for providing us with a warm and compfy home and atmosphere to relax. I loved it! As far as people saying anything about insects well you are in the rain forest and you will expect to see different insects and creatures there, I just took pictures and enjoyed every single moment! Some people just like to complain.
Wonderful Vacation Home!
I am so glad that I ignored the prior guest negative comments. When you stay in the rain forest you should expect that you cannot block out nature. It was awesome to wake up to the makaws flying over, to hear the forest waking up and to view the iguanas in the trees above.
I would recommend this house to anyone who wants the combined experience of living in the peaceful rain forest with the added bonus of being close to the commercialism of Jaco.
The only negative was that it was extremely hard to leave at the end of our stay.
Our stay at Casa Morada
This is Costa Rica, and bees come and go as they please, as do all kinds of life. We took immediate action to the bee problem. We could not find, nor have ever seen, a mouse or roaches in our estate. We keep it very clean and prepared for guests.
In our four years of operation, we have not ever had complaints pile up on us like this. In fact every renter has been satisfied, and most return each year. This rental is an upscale estate, and we pride ourselves to keep it in great condition for each rental.
After a refund and personal attention throughout their stay, they departed with an apology of their own for the quick review, as well as stating their stay turned out enjoyable. We wish the Ramirez family our best and welcome them back anytime.
