To celebrate an upcoming wedding, a group of ladies from all over New England embarked upon this beautiful home for a weekend in May. The view was breathtaking-- we enjoyed appetizers and conversation by the water. The owner left various take out menus so we could order in a casual dinner. We spent the following day visiting local sites, including a winery tour. The property is beautiful, the rooms are clean, there is plenty of space to "lounge" and all hang out. We found ourselves playing board games in the large living room, eating dinner at the large dining room table, and enjoying a beautiful breakfast sitting at the glass table with a spectacular view. I assumed the pictures would be better than the actual property, but I was wrong--in person, it was breathtaking, calm, and private. We all had the best time, and we all said we'd love to come back again when we had more than just a weekend to stay. I'm planning on booking this same property for a future family vacation. We just can't say enough about this cool, interesting, serene, clean place. Thank you so much!

We spent a week at this vacation house on the Niantic River over the 4th of July. What a fantastic place! This house is very spacious inside and we had plenty of room to entertain our friends and family. The kitchen was also well stocked with wine glasses, lobster pots, etc. The bed in the master bedroom was a tempur-pedic (or something like it) which was very comfortable. We slept better on vacation than at home! The water off the end of the dock was plenty deep so we were able to jump and dive off the dock with no worries at low tide. We could easily have kept a motor boat at the dock and there is lots of room for water skiing in front of the property. Our boys were able to kayak over to a small beach on the other side of the river. Dave and Susan also provided a beach pass to the town beach which overlooks Niantic Bay. There's a great place for seafood in town, Flanders Fish Market. We had several meals there and it's a must visit when we're in Niantic. We highly recommend this vacation home and hope to be back next year.

Spent three nights at this great vacation house for a family wedding and wished it could have been longer. It was located in a quiet area, with awesome fishing off the dock, which kept our grandsons happy for hours. We entertained various relatives and all were very happy with the sleeping arrangements, with comfortable beds and pull-out couches with lots of privacy. It was an easy drive to town with lots of good restaurants and beaches. We would definitely come back and rent it again.

We just got back from a long weekend with friends at this Niantic house. The house and furnishings are perfect for a large group - we all had an outstanding time. The house is clean, airy, and bright, the kitchen is well equipped, and there is comfy seating for all. It seems much bigger in real life than in the pictures. The location feels secluded, but you're really close to modern conveniences. It's a great meeting place for a Boston/NYC group. We all hope we can return the same weekend next year!
