We had a wonderful time at this location. We could go a few miles (or blocks) north or south and find great places to eat. We enjoyed John's Pass, golf and the beach. We took the Pirate ship and even though we are all over 60, we enjoyed the children and the view.
The condo was just as pictured and well appointed. Although we did not cook, the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony playing cards, reading or just watching the gulf. We saw one beautiful sunset, but the highlight of the week was the double rainbow we saw one morning.
I must note that I was impresses by the number of workers around the property. Each morning someone cleaned the pool, washed windows or worked on this or that. Everything was very clean.

Family time at the Beach

We took our kids and grandson to Florida for a week. We had a wonderful time. The condo was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were perfect temperatures and very clean. Every morning someone was out sweeping and cleaning the pool area.
The sunsets are everything that was promised. We had a great time taking photos.
The only difficulty we had was the day the elevator quit working. The owner and then manager responded quickly when we called to say the elevator was stuck. Within hours a repairman came and it was working again.
The location is great although the street is busy and lacks sidewalks. There was so much to do at the beach, though, this wasn't really an issue. We took advantage of all of the stored beach toys and had fun in the sand. We watched of few of the DVDs on one rainy day.
We appreciated the reviews of the nearby restaurants and visited a few of them but mostly cooked at home. The gas grills were very handy. I would definitely recommend this condo to others.

Great Sunsets

This was our first time staying in this area and it was absolutely great. The condo was exactly like the pictures showed (pictures can be deceiving) and it was so well equipped there was definitely nothing lacking. The condo was clean, well maintained and the owners provided lots of information for first time visitors. We would definitely rent this unit again, hopefully next winter!

We have been going to the Sandcastle III every couple of years since the kids were very small - and it is one of our favourite spots to vacation when we want a quiet, restful place to stay and unwind. This was our first time ever staying in unit 503 and we must say it was one of, if not the, best. Clean, comfortable, well maintained and obviously a unit that the owners take pride in, and in sharing. We will highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing family time in the sun where you feel comfortable! We definitely plan to be back someday - presuming you will have us.

We stayed at this condo in October of 2012. We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo itself was exactly as described and according to the pictures. It was very clean, neat and not lacking anything, from the kitchen, bathroom, beach towels to the beach toys that my children enjoyed very much. It was nice not having to pack all of those things. One less thing to worry about. The beach was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
From the moment I contacted the owners, they were very prompt and extremely warm and inviting. I cannot say enough good things about working with them. We had beach restoration while we were there and the beach in front of our condo was closed for three days. Amanda was great and worked with us to meet both of our needs.
Things that we recommend.....Clearwater Aquarium to see Winter the dolphin, deep sea fishing and having your own fish fry.....the lighthouse bakery down the street (key lime filled doughnuts...= ) Bubba Gump, Gators and The Pier right across the street.
We had a great time and would return to their condo if coming back to Indian Shores.

Great girls vacation!!

I'm so glad we chose your condo to spend our vacation at!! There were 5 adult girlfriends, and it was set up perfectly to have LOTS of space for all. The condo is just beautiful and SO completely equipped! We had everything we needed to enjoy the beach, the pool, and cooking. We enjoyed grilling out. Everything was VERY CLEAN, including the pool area. The condo is perfectly located to go up to Clearwater Beach, and down to John's Pass and St. Pete Beach. It's also right on the trolley line if someone didn't have a car. Lots of great restaurants to pick from. Thank you so much, we had a FABULOUS vacation!!

We were fortunate enough to stay in this lovely condo in March of 2012. It was a family vacation with our children and grandchildren. The condo was plenty large to accomodate all 8 of us (one little one slept on a made-up bed on the floor). The pool area was great and the beach was wonderful- beautiful white sand!
Eating places were abundant around us (esp. handy was the Pub across the street with great food), and we even saw 2 dolphins swimming there our last night.
Our only problem was with parking. The rental management did not have an accurate drawing of where we should park. We finally found the "number" we were to park at on Monday (we arrived there Saturday) as someone had parked in it all weekend!!!! There was some "guest" parking available and we luckily found spots in that except for one time when we left.
There were plenty of beach toys and towels. The area was perfect for exploring other towns nearby and was a more quiet and family-oriented area.
I would recommend this place.

We cannot control who parks in our spot, however, we have been discussing moving the spot to a more convenient location for our guests and your review made the issue that much more important. After speaking with the building supervisor, our spot will be moved closer to the entrance of the parking lot so that it will be more convenient for our guests. Our family stayed in this Unit in March of 2012 for 12 days. Very well appointed. On site parking is available, free wifi, beach towels and the unit was well supplied with cutlery, dishes and everything we needed. It has been updated, is clean and the whole process was easy! Perfect location for amazing sunsets on the beach. Pool and exterior facilities are well maintained.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well equipped condo. The VRBO listing was complete and accurate, and everything in the condo was in good working order. Sitting on the balcony enjoying the gorgeous sunsets or relaxing in the heated hot tub was sheer heaven. We found lots of restaurants really nearby, some in easy walking distance. We will definitely be staying here again in the near future!

Perfect Indian Shores Beach Vacation

Our family had reservations to stay 1 week in August and we were all having such an awesome time we called to see if we could stay a few extra days - as luck would have it there was an opening and we got to. I would highly recommend it to everyone. Great beach views and sunsets to die for from extra large balcony. We all enjoyed the pool and grilling out with friends. Love that it's close enough to walk to restaurants and even can rent boats, kayaks and more across the street for great rates. Love the split plan layout and the master bedroom is huge. We're a high tech family and my teenage son came out all excited the first day saying - Wow this internet is super fast - it allowed us to keep up with our work while enjoying our vacation. Also appreciated all the goodies the owners had left for us - beach toys, noodles, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels and more - made packing much easier :D - we can't wait to go back again next year. This condo makes our favorites because it was a good size, not too small and great layout also good guest parking and we never had to wait for an elevator since it's a smaller building, great pool, grills, spa were clean and always available ;D - and we always enjoyed the wide direct gulf front balconies. whether it's laying in bed, the living room or hanging on the porch the views were fabulous. - I gotta tell you there's nothing NOT to like here. The unit was super clean, loved the tile floors, all the info was accurate and it's even better than the photos. Nice wide beaches but not too far to navigate. Also great condo for seeing down to the pool but not hearing noise on the 5th floor. Easy to get to from the Tampa Airport or the St Pete Clearwater Airport - @ 30 mins or less. Also less than 2hrs from Disney so we could make a day trip no problem.
