There is always fishing right from our dock, Moody Gardens nearby and much to explore in town. Come prepared to keep busy OR just sit back and do nothing. In Galveston, you make your own rules.

When we first walked into the house, I recall my initial thoughts were 'water, water everywhere!' Sitting on the front porch is a soothing view of the bay and looking left and right are views of the canal. We enjoy feeding the birds, trying our luck fishing and relaxing with a cold drink as the sun goes down. This house in Sea Isle is in a quiet, nice neighborhood. You'll feel right at home and quickly adapt to the relaxed pace. It is great year round!
If you like to fish, you can do so in the canal from our deck or drive 1 mile to the private pier in Sea Isle. Guests use it FREE. The pier extends into the bay and is open by provided key. The Gulf of Mexico beach is about 1 mile from the house where you can walk the beach, look for shells, fly kites and fish in the surf.
