My wife and my daughter's family (including my daughtr, her husband and two grandson's), stayed at this property while attending a funeral. We decided to stay a few extra days to fill up the week.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there in this peaceful setting. The setup allowed privacy when needed for bedrooms and bathrooms, yet provided a great gathering area for the whole family in what I would call a "great room" portion of the house which included the spacious kitchen, dining room and large living area. This great room allowed us to chat while watching tv, dining, or preparing meals. The kitchen had everything we needed - all we had to do was buy the food.

While remote and quiet, the property is also centrally located in CT, allowing us a reasonable drive to the airport and to the shoreline where the whole family went to Mystic Seaport and the Aquarium as well as the beach. It is also located very close to a great state park, The Devil's Hopyard, which has a great stream complete with waterfalls. Here, my grandson caught his first fish, a large brook trout.

The owners were very easy to work with and the process was handled without hassles or surprises, The property was clean, and everything advertised met or exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend this property to any friend or relative.
