This condo was very light and bright, newly renovated and updated, and very clean. No problems with the appearance of the condo. The problem we had was with noise. This condo is on the first floor. The first night we were there, the tenants above us were playing very loud music with loud base when we were trying to sleep. A few nights later, early in the morning, someone was running around in the condo above us for about an hour, and bouncing a ball, making it hard to sleep as it made quite a bit of noise. And, whenever someone opened a door on the same floor as our condo, it sounded like the front door to our unit was opening, which was startling late at night. They were also installing windows in the other units in the building during the day, which was not very relaxing/peaceful.
This condo would be fine for those planning on fully enjoying the south beach nightlife, or for heavy sleepers; but for light sleepers like me, the noise alone might be reason not to rent this condo. I will say, though, that the newly installed windows kept out much of the noise from the strip. And, the unit is right across from the beach and close to all the action on the strip, but not right in the heart of it, making the location great!
If not for the noise, we would have been very pleased with this condo.
