A fantastic NYC stay

This was the first time I had stayed in an apartment in NY - actually, ever, while on holiday - so naturally was a little cautious about whether it would be as easy as checking in and staying at a hotel. After my week's stay in this apartment, I never want to stay in a hotel again.
Not only is it great to have your own space (for me it was a big deal that I could have my own breakfast in the morning), but this is cosy, comfy spot and in a great area for exploring. We stayed in a highly rated hotel in Boston the week before and this apartment beat it hands-down.
Norma is great. Really professional and as well as answering all our questions pre-trip (even though she was on holiday herself!), met us when we arrived at the apartment to show us round and tell us about the area and her favourite spots.
Spotless space - things were gleaming. Ample storage space (I was there for business and there was a good amount of hanging space and a large chest of drawers). Lovely, clean bathroom with all the amenities. Comfy beds - I was on the sofa bed and slept very well. Super fast wifi connection which was important - we ended up using the space for a bit of a work-space for a few days preparing for an upcoming conference so this was really handy. Enough room to stay and work very comfortably.
Cute touches too. A rainstorm was forecast so Norma made sure there were umbrellas for us, and there was Earl Grey tea stocked in the kitchen (my favourite!). Also a NYC guide and some local take-out menus.
As for the area, the apartment is centrally located in a great block in Chelsea. Really neighbourly, nice, residential area yet really easy to get to all the hustle and bustle deeper in Manhattan. Close to the subway. Great restaurants and cafes nearby. Norma recommended Murray's Bagels - delicious!
Laundry area in the basement, and dry cleaners pretty much across the street. Post office is 2 blocks away too.
I'm a natural cynic and so tend to read rather than write positive reviews, wondering how true they actually are. All I can say is, we had a fantastic week's stay and wouldn't hesitate for a moment to stay in this apartment again. Thanks Norma for making our trip one we won't forget.

Thank you Norma for allowing Bec, Luke & I to stay in your apartment. We loved it & would totally recommend it to other vacationers.
Norma was very professional & accommadating to deal with from the time of my initial inquiries about the property.
The apartment is well located close to everything including the subway. It was clean, well maintained and set up like a home away from home.Laundry facilities in the basement.Looks just like the pictures on the website.

Great Apartment and Location for our Family

My wife and two teen age daughters had the pleasure of staying in this apartment for a week at Christmas time, 2012. Before arriving, Norma clearly communicated all the pertinent information and quickly processed our agreement. When we arrived, meeting up and getting into the apartment was very efficient and easy. The photos give a very accurate representation of the place.
The apartment itself is very clean, up-to-date, well equipped, comfortable and the perfect size for us. The central location in Chelsea feels very safe, is quiet and could not be better ... a few minute's walk to three subway lines, great local restaurants, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and a number of local grocers all within easy walking distance, even in cold December. We walked to the Highline and passed several nice galleries on the way. We even jumped on the subway at 11:00pm for a quick, 3-stop trip to Times Square at midnight on New Years ... we were home by 12:45!
With the daytime temps hovering around 36, it was great to have a nice, warm, comfortable place to come home to. Highly recommended.

This is about the perfect NY apartment in the perfect NY neighborhood. We stayed for a week and can't wait to return. It was all very easy -- the owner Norma was easy to work with, very straightforward, responsive and accomodating. The apartment itself is well designed, efficient, fun to stay in and exactly as described -- and spotless. (Also, plenty of storage, nice decor, well equipped kitchen.) The photos are a realistic representation. The location is perfect -- close to two different subway lines, close to the High Line, close to lots of activity -- but we loved walking home on the quiet tree-lined street, fantasizing that it was actually our home. We tried a number of neighborhood restaurants recommended by Norma and enjoyed every one of them. All in all a great experience, a place I'd return to, a place I'd heartily recommend.

Perfect NYC Experience

We were so happy that we chose to stay in this beautiful Chelsea apartment! The photos accurately present the cleanliness and ambiance. My sister slept on the sofa bed and reported that it is quite comfortable. There is plenty of room and ample closet and storage space. The kitchen is clean and well-stocked. We enjoyed the opportunities to have morning coffee and evening wine and snacks in the dining area. The neighborhood is great with easy walking access to stores, eateries and public transit.
The owner, Norma, is accommodating and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and gladly recommend to friends and relatives.

Great apartment in a great location

I stayed in this apartment for two weeks in June 2012. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. It's fabulous and I would definitely recommend it.
It's very clean and tidy and quiet and is well stocked with everything you might need. The furnishings are also very comfortable and new.
The descriptions given on the website are accurate. I can't think of anything I wanted that wasn't there.
The location of the apartment is great. There are lots of terrific places in easy walking distance and it is also very close to several subway lines so it's easy to get to anywhere in manhattan or beyond.
It was very hot while I was there and the air conditioning worked very well. The wifi was easy and fast. There is also a little desk if you need it. There was plenty of storage space too, in both the living area and the bedroom, so you don't have to feel you're living out of luggage.
I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it without hesitation. It really is perfect for a terrific holiday.
