The Perfect Place to Enjoy Nature

My Family & I visited for the first time over Memorial day weekend, needing to
unwind & relax. This is the place to do it!
The home was perfect. Inside & out. The many decks offered awesome views from every angle. You are so close to the bay, that you can let the sound of the gently rolling waves lull you to sleep. While having your morning coffee, you can sit on yet another deck and listen to the birds in the preserve. Aaah, so peaceful. And barely any traffic, great for bike riding.
We thought we'd have to drive the kids to the ocean a couple miles down the road - but no need, they LOVED the bay beach, it was clean & they could've played in the water all night. My Husband & Son caught nice Sea Trout from the beach. Everyone was happy. Thank you for opening your home to us - we will love to come again & again.

Perfect for us

The process to sign up for the rental was painless considering this was my first time using this site. The property owner was very patient with us and answered all our questions via email. We got to the rental property and after a quick look around my wife said "Perfect - absolutely perfect". The property is well maintained and very very clean. The area is secluded which is great for us since we don't like big crowds. The store up the street had enough to get us through the first night and the other stores were close enough to make a run or two to get supplies for the week. The rental had everything there that we needed and everything was in great shape. I would recommend this property to friends or relatives, and we are definitely planning on using this again next year!!! Thank you!

This was our second visit in two years. first was for our honeymoon and now this year for our first anniversary. my wife grew up about 10 houses down from here and loves going back. very private! and very relaxing! the house and the beach are very clean! almost have the beach to yourself. I would and have recomended this for anyone who wants to get away and relax. thanks again guys we had a great time!

Beautiful home. Perfect for a couple or 2,a or small family. We spent our anniversary weekend at this home. We usually go to South or North Carolina for our summer vacation. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a well kept beach & home.
Close to shopping, restaurants, and many other things to do, but far enough from the commercialized area to be secluded and relaxing.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at Broadkill Beach! Owner was very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this home to friends & family.

Beautiful beach house. Great location. Perfect for small family. As other reviews stated, the owner was easy to work with, even when making reservations just a few days before going to the beach.
Secluded location. Very laid back & relaxing but a close enough to shopping, restaurants & activities. Perfect.
The home had everything that we needed.
Would love to go there again & would recommend it to my friends & family.

We loved this beach home and location! It is right on the beach and very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The home was well appointed. The owner was very easy to work with. We also appreciated that we could bring our dog with us. It is only 20 minutes drive to many restaurants and shopping. We would recommend to young families and friends. Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful!! We generally try different places to vacation every year, but would definitely consider this property again!!! Thanks :)

Excellent location and very neat and tidy.Could use an outside shower to remove sand from beach. Pots and pans in kitchen need to be replaced. I owned vacation rental properties on the outer banks and I was pleasantly surprised with this house. Water was warm and beach area was great. I recommend this property.

The owner was very easy to work with.The house was very clean.Everything listed was there and more! I was worried, this was the first time I took a chance and rented a home off the internet. Home away.com was wonderful ! The house looked exactly like in the pictures. It was so quiet and so relaxing! We took our dog and she loved the beach....what a view! Some of the reviews complained of no clothes dryer...we didn't mind,there was a clothes line and we opened the front and back doors in the laundry room and in 2 hrs. the clothes were dry and smelled so fresh! Broadkill Beach is such beautiful area! We enjoyed watching all the different birds. Make sure to take your binoculars! We loved the steamed crabs at "Surfin Crab" ! Tons of outlet shopping! There is something close by for everyone to do!

Wonderful Beach Front Home, Highly Recommended!

We were looking for a beach house to stay for our honeymoon that would allow pets. Having stayed numerous years at Rehoboth, Bethany and OC, we were a bit hesitant to stay in a new beach location. We were pleasantly surprised! This home is located on the beach, the view is incredible. Broadkill beach is located a car drive from eating and shopping locations but its location offers more privacy and a quiet environment to relax. The home is clean, spacious and the beds are very comfortable. We would love to come back next year and would highly recommend you staying at this wonderful home.
