Spacious, sunlit 3-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath home on a quiet cul de sac in Truckee includes a garage as well as parking for four cars on driveway which is kept plowed in winter. It is five minutes from great shops and restaurants in the booming Gold Rush era downtown with quick and easy access to north shore ski areas and several lakes as well as Highways 80 and 89.
Sleeps 10 in beds – master suite has one queen bed and a queen futon; each of the two guest rooms have queen beds; and, there is a queen futon in the living room. Upstairs the master suite has its own full bathroom and the two guest rooms share the other full bathroom. There is a half bath on the main floor.
The primary social space on the main floor is flooded with natural light from three 15 foot high south-facing windows as well as two windows each on the north and west facing walls. This large great room has a LOPI wood stove, TV, DVD player and AM/FM radio-CD player; Wi-Fi is also included. There is direct access through a French door onto the deck.
The long dining room table can be opened to seat 12 comfortably. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped including a toaster oven, microwave, gas stove top, two electric ovens (one convection), coffee and espresso makers, tea pot, mixer and, blender along with the usual pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glasses, etc. There is a washer and dryer in the laundry room alcove off the kitchen.
All linens and basics (bar and laundry soap, dish and dishwasher soap, etc., as well as spices, vinegar, oil and so on) are included. There is also plenty of firewood at hand both by the wood stove and in the garage.

Two couples and close friends purchased the cabin as a shared second home to use for themselves as well as for extended family and friends. Rental income was not the purpose so it is rented on a selected basis only.
Both couples are avid skiers. One couple also has relatives living in Truckee not too far from the cabin's location. All are very active in both winter and summer sports (such as mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, etc.). The cabin is ideally located for easy, quick access to the north shore ski areas as well as Donner, Prosser, Boca and Stampede lakes in addition to Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City, the town of Truckee and the Truckee River recreation areas. It is a 2-minute drive to Highway 89 and only 5-minutes away from Highway 80.
Privacy all year-round as well as seclusive summer dining on the deck. Quiet cul de sac with a great room that is conducive for entertaining.
