The two smaller bedrooms each has a twin bed and the master bedroom has a queen bed and a bath with shower. The common bath has a tub and shower. The fourth bedroom has a double bed which sleeps two additional people or you can use it as an office or exercise room.
The back yard is enclosed by a six-foot hedge giving privacy and contains a horseshoe court plus a large pergola covered with grape vines with a swing and benches inside. The rear patio has a table and four chairs plus a gas barbeque grill. There is ample off-street parking in front.
When I bought this house I redecorated it to make it more comfortable for me and my family. A couple years later I bought the house next door, completely rebuilt it and moved in. I've kept the original house as a guest house, but last year decided to offer it up for short-term rental. Living next door makes it easier to maintain the rental unit and more convenient for guests. It's almost like having a bed & breakfast inn where I get to meet visitors.....but I don't cook.
Actually, I have lived in the Prescott/Prescott Valley area for twenty-six years. I continue to work and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
This community is very family friendly and offers numerous activities such as hiking, fishing, biking, boating, hunting, museums, art galleries, horse racing, movies, live entertainment at Tim's Toyota Center, and much more.
