Finn's eclectic apartment in Copenhagen is wonderful. The location is great , 400m to shops, grocery stores, restaurants and No. 2A bus to the city, 10 minutes away. Walking distance to Christianchavn and Vor Frelser Kirke.
Finn met us at the apartment and provided maps and information on the area. The streets are quiet and the apartment provided a homely base. It was great to have the internet. Finn was a gracious host and went out of his way to help us enjoy our stay.

We would definitely recommend this apartment and would stay again when in Copenhagen ... we loved it so much

We spent 9 nights in Finn's apartment in Copenhagen in late Sept/early Oct 2012. Finn was very helpful, meeting us at the apartment upon arrival, even with our flight being 2 hours late! We each had our own key, and he provided extra tea towels for us, and helped us with the computer (with internet and a printer). The apartment is large (2 large bedrooms, large living room, small kitchen), quiet and comfortable. There is no closet or wardrobe/dressor to put your clothes away, but there is a long bench in one bedroom where you can leave your suitcase open. In reading through the comment book in the apartment, at least 40 people (families, couples, friends) have stayed in the apartment over the past 18 months, and not a single complaint (except perhaps the desire for a microwave oven). I think the apartment is best for a couple, maybe with one child, but would be tight for 2 couples to share (although it has been done).

It is conveniently located, within about a 10 minute walk of the Amagerbro Metro station, and about a 20 minute walk into the heart of Copenhagen. There are two grocery stores within about a 5 minute walk, a laundry around the corner, pharmacies and banks nearby (a couple blocks), and a bus stop around the corner. There is a good Indian restaurant around the corner; we did not enjoy the Thai restaurant across the street. Italian restaurants are numerous in the city!

If you want a reasonable, quiet and comfortable place, and don't mind being just out of the city centre, then this is a good place to make a home-base while in Copenhagen. Put your walking shoes on, or invest in a 10-trip bus/metro pass, and enjoy!

The location is perfect and within convenient walking distance to all the sites in Copenhagen. There are two grocery stores, bakeries, and restaurants all very close.

The apartment is very cozy and was spacious for our party of 4 adults. We loved having a large great room for breakfast and relaxing in the evenings. The building was quiet and free from street noise.

Finn was attentive and very accommodating. He was helpful in directing us from the airport and provided great tourist information.

We would definitely stay in this apartment on future trips to Copenhagen.

My grandson and I had a wonderful week in Finn's apartment. Finn was very gracious and helpful. The apartment is very close to buses and the center of town, which is beautiful. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The experience was wonderful!

The apartment was in a nice quite area. Not far from downtown, you can walk take a bus, or metro. The bus system is very nice to travel in and comes by frequently. Finn has Bus route information in the Apartment along with sightseeing books for Copenhagen.

Finn was prompt to answer all of my questions and he met us at the apartment to show us how to use everything including the elevator and to give us the keys.

I would recommend checking into getting a Copenhagen Card. When you purchase the card it gets you into 80 attractions / museums and unlimited travel on the Metro/Bus/Train systems. They have 24 hour and 72 hour cards.

I would recommend going to The Church of Our Saviour and climb to the top of the spire about 400 stairs, but what a view!
Also Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerod is highly recommended.

We had a very nice stay here in September of 2010. The apartment is on the 3rd (4th if you are American) floor, but there is a smallish elevator (big enough for two people and luggage). The area is very nice, with two Metro stations within easy walking distance. In fact, getting here from the airport was probably easier than in any other big city I've visited. Downtown and all attractions are also not very far - you can walk there in half an hour.
One of the two bedrooms in the apartment is large, and the other one is smaller but also of a nice size. The queen beds are comfortable. The kitchen is very adequate, with everything you need to prepare and serve your meals (with the exception of a microwave). There is a table for four in the living room, which also includes a sofa and a large flat screen TV. The bathroom with a shower is clean and in good working order. However, if you like bathtubs, you are going to be disappointed. There is a small hallway near the front door where you can hang your coats, etc. You will find some interesting art on the walls, and an interesting collections of books as well, although most of them are in Danish.
It was very easy to make arrangements with the owner. He responded to the original request and to every follow-up communication promptly and cheerfully.
All in all, we recommend this apartment and we would consider staying here again.

Finn, We really enjoyed staying at your place. It was a lovely apartment and we loved the neighborhood. We ate at Kareten two times and just loved it.
We will be leaving the apartment around 2 today. There is some cheese and butter in the fridge and a couple of other things on the counter that we could not finish.
It was so nice to sleep with the windows open and snuggle under several blankets!
