Come & Stay in our gated community of Lake Cumberland Resort. The home offers clean accommodations, spacious rooms, and loads of amenities. Sits on a wooded private setting. Marina with Full Boat rentals or launching only minutes from the house. Home has 3 decks, screened in porch, Hot Tub, outdoor chiminea fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Total of 8 rooms + 2 full baths. The resort offers 3 swimming pools, tennis court is walking distance from the home, on site security guards, and access to hiking trails and/or 4 wheeler trails. Amenities include cable TV, DVD Player, 3 TVs, and gas grill. Lake Cumberland Resort sits on a 1,000 acre Peninsula surrounded by the South Fork of Lake Cumberland and backs up to the Daniel Boone National Park. We had a wonderful time at the cabin. We loved the amenities and the scenery. The owners are very helpful and provided a very lovely cabin for our stay. I would recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a great relaxing time. The only issue we didn't like was the cleaning fee. It States it before renting but we felt that the place could have been a little cleaner for the price paid. Other than that we absolutely loved the place.

Had a difficult time finding linens (especially for the pull out couch), but once everyone was settled it was a great time! Also, if you are planning to cook an elaborate meal, think about specific pots and pans you may need and bring them with you. Hot tub was delightful and the location was great! Everyone left happy!

nice place but not for 10

Nice place, like the decor but does not really have room for 10! (although there are beds for 10 there is not room for 10 to eat, shower or watch TV)! Towels were not clean (white towels with what look like blood stains) and we had to go looking for enough (some were in the dryer). The "3 pools" were 2 very disappointing pools and one closed for repairs (hopefully that one is nicer!).
*Good location, close to Marina, has its own boat ramp.
AC problematic - either too cold downstairs or too hot upstairs (but of course it was 90+ degrees that week).
Would stay there again but only with 6 or fewer people.

Cumberland resort vacation

We had a great time staying at this house. Perfect size for our group of 9 people. We enjoyed the hot tub at night for a little relaxation. The use of the resort pools and tennis court was great. The elevation location of the drive into the resort and house was a little rough on the truck pulling a 16' trailer loaded with atv's but well worth it. Great atv riding trails located just 50' from the house. We tried to ride a different trail every day. Found a nice cove off the lake while riding that we were able to swim and jump off some rocks and cliffs which was awsome. Resort located just 15 minutes from large town with all the ammenities that you would ever need. We took full advantage of cumberland lake, wish i owned my own jet skiis though! we hiked to a couple of falls, kids went horse back riding about 20 miles away and we went to teh water park in somerset. The house had a nice sized kitchen and dining room that was great for our gang. The air conditioner worked great, probably could use ceiling fans in the bedrooms upstairs though. Use of the house wireless internet was helpful to get just a little work done while on vacation!. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
