Wonderful Rental

We look forward to returning someday to this truly great rental. We found it clean, complete, and quiet. There were lots of extras as well, and the neighbors we met were very nice and helpful. There were plenty of things to do, and endless beaches to enjoy. This is off the beaten path, but we could easily reach all the sights and places we wanted to see. I'd advise any tourists interested in souvenirs to go to the flea market at Aloha Stadium for significant savings. Polynesian Cultural Center was truly superb!

Sunset Beach house- home away from home

This home is very comfortable, well-appointed, and decor is Hawaiiana- to get you into the island mood the minute you walk in the door. Looks just like it is presented on the website. Nice views from the french doors. The owners have updated the house and have done a nice job. Clean throughout, well ventilated, so no A/C isn't a problem. Kitchen setup is very nice. Owner was extremely helpful and responded quickly to questions via email. Close to beach, a short walk away, but has a view from the lanai...Ted's Bakery just down the hill has the best garlic shrimp, IMO. Also has fresh pastries, big breakfasts- open late, too. Short drive to other north shore areas, we like being away from Waikiki crowds, so it was very good to stay here. The only downside were some noisy neighbors-a late night party on one side one night made it hard to sleep, and small children being small children on the other - some construction going on a few houses away, but we were gone most of the day, so no problem. This is a locals' neighborhood, after all. Haleiwa, Kaena Point hike, east side beaches a short ride away. You can get by with a bicycle too- nice long bike path. Foodland is a good grocery store- has all you need. Would definitely stay here again. Though there were only two of us, families or groups of 4-6 people would have plenty of room. The best to you and your Family

This experience was the ultimate. This is not a beach house-it's a HOME. Everything we needed is here. This is such a gorgeous well stocked house, it really made our trip! It was perfect! I would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to make their North Shore stay perfect. Thank you so much Sussi, you were the perfect hostess even though you were miles away. It was the best week of our lives!

We had a fantastic time here on the North Shore and our home for 8 days was comfortable and great to come "home" to each day. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and patio and waking up each morning seeing the beautiful Pacific. Thanks so much, we hope to return! comfortable, convenient north shore getaway

The house was conveniently located 10 min walk to beach, 5 minutes from Ted's Bakery (yum), and a short drive from other famous North Shore locations (Turtle Bay resort, Waimea Bay, Haleiwa, Pipeline, Kahuku, etc). The deck was a perfect spot to watch the sunset or spend a leisurely breakfast before heading out to surf or hike. The living room/dining area was great for hanging out and the kitchen was perfectly set up for cooking meals together with friends. The bedrooms were nicely set up for a group of friends, although less convenient for multiple couples since only the master bedroom had a queen size (the other two bedrooms have twin beds). The house was super comfortable, clean and had tons of towels plus laundry downstairs as well. We loved staying there!

We couldnt have been happier with this beautiful property, and the beautiful people that own it! Sussi was so helpful from start to finish. The house is absolutely gorgeous and has EVERYTHING you could possily need. We felt totally at home and were so sad when we had to leave! Thanks again for an amazing week- we WILL BE BACK!

We want to express what a wonderful time we had staying at your home. It was very comfortable, very nice furnishings. Was very impressed that the kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessities for cooking. My family so enjoyed the surroundings of Haleiwa, all the wonderful snorkleing, jumping off "the jumping rock" in Waimea Bay. Swimming with the turtles in Shark's cove. Exploring the historic town of Haleiwa. Visiting the Old Sugar Mill is also a must. We loved the charm and the layed back atmosphere of the North shore. Thank you Sussi & Gerry for making our stay a most welcome experience that we already want to come back.
