Excellent location, beautiful house, wonderful owner!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay here from 5/10 - 5/12. The house is exactly as pictured and was located within walking distance from the downtown mall and very close to UVA.
The owner was great with communication both prior and after our trip. In fact, someone within our party left a valuable electronic device at the house and the owner promptly searched the house, replied to many emails and returned our device within 2 days. We cannot say enough nice things about the house and owner!
We recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay in Charlottesville. We would stay there again!

Great Getaway

A friend and I stayed here during Garden Week and loved it. The tastefully decorated apartment was easy walking distance to the Downtown Mall in a lovely neighborhood. Parking is easy with the provided permit. There is one very nice master bedroom, and another with two twin beds but no dresser. We had everything we needed --and the owner even came by to help us figure out the cable TV. We will be back!

The house was within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping at the downtown mall. The listing description was accurate and we found it to be quite comfortable. The owner was easy to get in touch with and responded quickly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Wonderful Flat!

Stayed here for 3 nights to do visit some virginia wineries in the area. The place was exactly as the pictures showed, if not better! The rooms are large and comfortable. Very convenient for walking to downtown for food/drink/entertainment. Loved the place, will stay again this fall!

Great Home Base While in the Charlottesville area

We have young children and needed a place where they could nap in the afternoons. This place worked really well. We were able to cook a few simple meals in the kitchen and that saved us money and patience. With little hands along we appreciated the simplicity of the decor. It was very clean and close to Monticello and Ashlawn-Highland. Montpelier was about 45 min. away. We are very happy we chose to stay here.

Great Spot with lots of amenities

This was a great home base for our stay in Charlottesville. Plenty of room for 2 couples, loved the spacious living room and covered porch, easy stroll to downtown. I highly recommend and will definitely be back for my next stay in town!

I was really impressed with how lovely and inviting this property was. It had character, comfort, quirks. The wood floors are weird, but interesting. The beds were very comfortable, and extra blankets were available for when it got chilly. The location is also great - very close to the shopping area. Parking was no problem with the provided parking pass.

Close To Everything......

Tremendous character. I wish we would have had more time with only a couple of days. The owners provided full instructions so there were really no questions we had. The layout worked and the beds were comfortable. Having a kitchen, washer, and dryer was convenient. The covered porch was nice. It felt like we walked into our grandparents' homes. It just "felt" right. The "mall" was 2 blocks away and walking there was easy. It contained all of the local businesses and NO franchises. Be sure to have breakfast at The Nook. We also had dinner at Fellini's. If you make it on a Monday night, 88 Keys is at the piano playing standards....wonderful. We will be back!! Thank you....

The photos and description description of the house were spot on. The flat was clean and nicely decorated and had interesting architectural features. The terrace outside was great, though I would recommend bug spray or a citronella candle if you visit in the summer. The kitchen was well stocked but do note that the oven is 'apartment sized' so larger baking sheets won't fit. The walk to the pedestrian mall is only 5 minutes and it was so convenient to have a place to partk the car near downtown. Overall I would recommend this property and would stay here again.
