This was a wonderful vacation home for us. Our grandchildren were very happy with the pool and we were pleased with the whole home.

Wonderful home for a vacation stay. The house is lovely, spacious and well kept. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. The beach is an easy walk. The house had all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Lisa is very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend.

We spent 3 weeks in this beautiful house in March 2010. Unfortunately, Florida suffered one of its coldest and rainiest March on record. We were not really able to use the beautiful pool but enjoyed the gorgeous beaches a very short walk away.

The setting of this house is perfect. Quiet neighborhood, wonderful vegetation all around. Very private.

The house itself is very well kept and decorated. Upscale furniture and appliances. However, there was no patio furniture: table and chairs to eat outside. Had we had nicer weather we would have missed this terribly as we love to eat outside. Must be a Canadian thing.

The owners are very nice and respond quickly when called with a problem.

My husband and I and our 2 young daughters spent 18 days here at the end of March and had a wonderful time. This is a really lovely property with lots of character and a very homely feel. It has been done up to a good standard, is nicely decorated, wonderfully clean and amazingly well equipped - from buckets and spades and scooters for the kids to pool towels, books and dvds. It really was like being in a home rather than a holiday let.

The neighbourhood is upscale residential, quiet and peaceful, the stunning beach is about 5 minutes walk away - easy to head over to catch the sunset at the end of each day. There are quite a few good restaurants within 5-10 minutes drive and a good, large supermarket less than 10 minutes drive. If the beach gets too hot there`are lots of other things to do in the area - Ringling Museum was a great day out as was the Mote Aquarium and of course the Adventure Island water park and Busch Gardens in Tampa aren't far.

The owner was also extremely helpful both before the trip when she sent details of things going on in the area and during our visit when we had a couple of questions.

I would definitely recommend this without hesitation and we would certainly hope to go back again.

We just returned from a fabulous family vacation on Longboat Key!

This house is extremely warm and welcoming. It is beautifully decorated and has a great layout. One of the best parts of the house is how well outfitted it is -- it has everything you need for a great vacation -- even things you didn't know you'd need (like the wagon for getting to the beach with gear and kids)!

We spent lots of time in the refreshing pool, on the gorgeous beaches (just a quick walk away) and enjoying our time together!

We would certainly recommend this house to anyone looking for a vacation in the area!

I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely home for three months - it is a haven of comfort and relaxation! My favourite memory is of waking up in the morning with the sunlight streaming into the master bedroom through the french doors open to the pool - you truly are in paradise. Cool terracotta tile floors and large, comfortable sofas, perfect for curling up and reading a book... very well equipped kitchen with all that you could need - I could not recommend this beautiful home more highly and the location is perfect! Close enough to Sarasota for the Ringling Museum, opera and theatre, Anna Maria for it's laid back Island style and beaches and Tampa for the parks and major shopping yet far enough to feel you are in paradise. Try it, you'll love it - just like I did!

My husband, daughter, and I stayed at this Longboat Key home for a month and will definately be returning! It is as quaint as it looks, in excellent condition, and immaculately kept! The location is perfect for beach lovers! We walked the Longboat beaches, the Lido Key beaches, as well as the Anna Marie Island beaches. I think these are some of the most beautiful beaches in the world! We shopped and dined at St Armand's Circle---even road bikes there one day for fun! There are too many great restuarants too mention, but outstanding ones include Euphemia Haye and Harry's Continental Kitchens! The owner was available for questions by phone every time I contacted her and more than willing to help and answer questions. I would definately recommend this to friends and family! Enjoy the treat!!

Wonderful location for shopping and going to the beach . Very private and quiet neighborhood great for walks.
Dock slip came in very handy with great access to water ways.
We loved it and would rent again as the accomodations were lovely just like home but with all the added amenities.
