Hi. we are 2 couples who came to the states to celebrate 3 60th birthdays. After a long day with flights etc and hectic drive from Boston, we Arrived in Falmouth. The house was absolutely amazing,better than photographs! It was very well equipped with every utensil you could think off. We are all keen cooks. The only thing missing and this is being very petty,were egg cups, we like boiled eggs for breakfast, but we improvised,
Across the road was the beach, so easy to get to and pop back to house for drink etc. the view over the lake while we barbecued was amazing and there were quite a few birds we didnt recognise but we have now,
Excellent meal at the Glass Onion, good food and very good service at reasonable price. really enjoyed lobster strudel and the scallops were something to die for! huge and so tasty!
We had a wonderful week which included a trip tp Provincetown and another day whalewatching. We saw lots of whales including mother and baby and several sharks. Great day.

Our first stay...

We will be back here with our next trip to this part of the Cape. The house is fun, beautifully designed and laid out. Kids and adults alike enjoyed the house and its environs. All the appliances worked perfectly, water pressure was excellent and TV - when it was on which was rarely - offered a sufficient number of channels. The DVD player got some use with rentals from a nearby RedBox. Woods Hole, "downtown" Falmouth were all a short drive - or bike ride - away. We look forward to our second stay...

My wife and I spent two glorious weeks in this wonderful Falmouth beach house and we both agreed they were two of the best weeks we have ever enjoyed. Although the fact that we had bright sunshine for every single day (it only rained at night), the house itself was a primary factor that made our visit very special.
The 1980's design is beautiful and innovative, providing the perfect setting for capturing the very best that is the essence of Cape Cod. The views are spectacular: Vineyard Sound and Martha's Vineyard from the front, and a beautiful salt pond in the back, which teems with waterfowl. A few steps across the road is beautiful Menauhant Beach, quiet, peaceful, and inviting any time of the day or evening.
We made easy day trips to P-town, Wellfleet, Orleans, and Chatham, plus two voyages to Martha's Vineyard, taking in the arts and culture, quaint and modern shops, and great places to dine. Falmouth itself was one of our favorites and we spent parts of several days exploring and enjoying. Anejo, a wonderful Mexican restaurant, merited three visits and would have been more, but we had to move on.
The house itself is so very well provisioned that one immediately feels at home--or maybe how you wish home was. The design and finishes of the interior are wonderful and their careful maintenance belies the fact that the house was finished in 1980.
We loved every minute of our two weeks' stay and definitely plan to return soon.

Great Week on the Cape

We had a wonderful week on the Cape due in large part to this house! It was very spacious, very clean and the best part it was right across the road from the beach. We had a lobster boil our last night--the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The deck off our bedroom had a great view of the ocean and Martha's Vineyard. We loved the Falmouth area and will definitely want to rent this house again!

Beautiful and comfortable home made this a great Cape vacation. This is a spacious house that is well furnished and comes with great extras like wireless internet, gas grill and multiple decks. Located right on Menauhant beach with view across to Martha's Vineyard. We would definitely go back.

We had a wonderfull time in the house which was for 5 persons wellsized, perfect located to the beach and very well equipped.
Walking to the beach took one minute and the beach was perfect. Of course the weather was at our hand.
