We just came back from Costa Rica and we already want to go back. We spend 8 days at the PalmHouse. What an amazing modern house, just like in magazines. We spend so many hours outside enjoying the patio and the pool. The views are incredible, we heard and saw the monkeys every day.We travel a lot and rent house around the word, but this one is different and is the winner so far. Every space is clean and beautiful. The owners help us with our travel around the Gunacaste. The directions given before leaving were all easy and clear to follow. A special thanks to Martha the housekeeper who took care of us and make this house inviting and relaxing. We greatly enjoy her presence with us. We visit many beaches, we particulary love playa Real with the monkeys and Playa Danta. We were the only one with our teenagers. Thank you to let us live in your dream house.

The Palm House is an incredibly beautiful and spotless property, offering the perfect environment for a most relaxing holiday. Set in a quiet and green part of the Tamarindo hinterland, the view reaches unobstructedly till the ocean, inviting you to spend your time on the terrace, in the pool or in the nice lounge area above it. The modern and very sophisticated house leaves no wish open, more than enough space for our family with three kids. Martha, the housekeeper, is very friendly and helpful, contributing further to the well being of the guests.

The area offers many outdoor activities, enough to keep you and family busy, whatever your preferences. Many beaches are nearby, most suitable for our baby was Playa Conchal, warm and calm waters with shaded beach.

We hope to return soon and discover more of the area and enjoy the fabulous Palm House.

My husband and I recently returned from our first trip to Costa Rica, and we enthusiastically recommend the Palm House for anyone planning a trip to Tamarindo! The Palm House is absolutely gorgeous, and completely exceeded our expectations.
We rented an SUV and drove in from Liberia Airport. We were able to find the house very easily. I am glad that we had a 4 wheel drive vehicle, however, because it is at the top of a very steep hill! The house is in a gated community, so it is a very safe environment. It overlooks a beautiful valley, with only 2-3 houses nearby, and is very private and peaceful. The house is also very close to several attractions. There is a Zip Line just down the road, which we enjoyed. We went horseback riding at Black Stallion Ranch, also just down the road. We went into Tamarindo often, for some meals and other activities, including an awesome massage and deep sea fishing. We also went to Lola’s on Playa Avellanas – don’t miss this place! It is gorgeous!
But with all our activities, we were always eager to return to the beautiful Palm House. The house is very well appointed, with all the comforts of home (Wifi, Stereo, electric grill, SKYPE, etc.). The upstairs master bedroom is VERY comfortable, with high quality bedding and blackout drapes and its own individual air conditioner. We stocked up on groceries at the Auto Mercado, and cooked many of our own meals. There are two staff people who manage and maintain the house. Marta is the housekeeper, and keeps everything immaculately clean. The appliances appear to have never been used, they are so clean! Wilder is the gardener, and maintains the gorgeous landscape and the beautiful pool. Both of them are so nice. And our hosts, Eduardo and Alex, were so helpful, and touched base with us to make sure we had all we needed.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I wish I was still there in Costa Rica at the lovely Palm House! I would love to return one day soon.

This was my second stay at The Palm House on the Costa RIca's west coast. I stayed at The Palm House for a full month.

Beautiful contemporary home, well appointed for a couple or many guests. Wonderful staff, attentive owners and a fabulous location/vista. Centrally located in near Tamarindo...its a great location from which to explore many of Costa Rica's beautiful beaches and nature. Absolutely beautiful!

The Palm House was the perfect villa in one of the most idyllic settings we've ever had the pleasure of staying in. We really enjoyed exploring the area and coming home to such amazing views and comfort. The villa itself had all the amenities we could have asked for and the staff were wonderful. It is a trip will will never forget and we look forward to future visits to Palm House and Costa Rica.

We had a wonderful time at your home, just can't say enough. I have a very nice home here in the Key's and always appreciated it when I returned home, I would say Ahhhhh....my house looks so nice. Not so this time when we returned from your place, I had no comment on our place ha ha

I had wonderful rested time at the Palm House and would definitely go back again. The views were panoramic from every location within the house and the property. I would give it a ***** star rating. Way better than staying in a hotel if you are looking for great service, nice people and an experience in modern living in a secluded location.

This past March, our family traveled to Costa Rica to stay at the Palm House. After eight snow days for school, a constant 20 inches of snow on the ground and temperatures hovering at -4 below we could not wait. The Palm House surpassed every expectation, every picture we looked at and will remain a incredibly special place to our family. We celebrated our son's 7th birthday, with a day at the beach, lunch at Lola's and a zip line that we will never forget. Twenty minutes from so many different beaches to explore we spent our days discovering the coast and ocean, loving the lifestyle. Every afternoon we returned home to the Palm House and watched the sun set in the splendid pool and enjoyed dinner outside. Our housekeeper was a amazing woman who came every day to see to our freshly made beds, cleaned kitchen and spottless house. This truly was a vacation to return and linger. We look forward to returning next March! thank you Alex and Eduardo for creating such a special place.
