I really liked this house

I spend a Girl's Weekend in this house and had such a great time! The decor is so cool and soothing, and there were a lot of us in that kitchen and we all fit! I liked that there were a lot of areas where you could hang: the big living room sectional, the neat dining room/sunroom, the deck that connects to the pool. It is a really happy place. I also loved that there were 3 grocery stores and a drug store within walking distance!! I would definately stay there again. My nieces and nephews would love the huge basement, and the bike trail that connects to Rehoboth Beach and boardwalk.

This is a wonderful house. Exactly as advertised. Location was great; right off Coastal Highway with plenty of stores. The house was so big and comfy. The decorations very artsy and intersting. It was clean and well equiped. Joelle directed us in by phone and was there to give us the keys and house information. The first night we barbequed on the gas grille and just chill-axed as it rained, lightning and thundered for 2 1/2 days. We, all five of us, watched tv and read in the comfortable living room. The beds were comforable and all had good nights sleeping. We were so close to the boardwalk, we went back and forth everyday. Rented a surrey once that was a struggle, but fun. We explored Bethanny, Dewey, and Lewes. The guys went fishing in beautiful Cape Henlopen State Park. We had dinner at Big Fish Grille, amazing; Annabelle's in Lewes, great and Grotto Pizza, yummy. Breakfast at Crystal Diner was a treat. We even hit Rita's Water Ice and Kandy Kitchen. The house was so centrally located we were close to everything. Of couse, we hit the outlets too. There were plenty of books, if you didn't bring your own, and toys for the 2 year old. He expecially loved the colorful, wooden lizards and the colorful wooden deer and the space he had to run around in. The kitchen was so big we all four "chefs" fit comfortably in it together to prepare meals. The dining room looked out at the pool and there was access from the master bedroom. Ah! The pool! What a pleasure to swim whenever you wanted. And just standing outside and looking around was peaceful and relaxing. We were four adults; a bubbie, popi, son, daughter-in-law and an almost 2 yr old toddler. We were so comfortable we were all sad to leave. A home away from home! We would highly recommend this house to families or for a girls or guys week. Can't wait to go back.

This is an awesome house with a great pool and tons of privacy, while being close to everything you could possibly want. We played in the pool, relaxed in the comfy living room, and barbequed the week away. Slept like a logs in the comfortable beds and enjoyed the heck out of the well kept property and decks. Thank you to the owner of this super vacation home for an incredible week of fun and relaxation.

We rented this beautiful house for the 2nd consecutive year. The big pool is an amenity not available in most houses in Rehoboth. The living area is spacious and beautiful but very comfortable. The master bedroom is beautiful and spacious. The other bedrooms are comfortable but lacking dresser space for storing clothes. Huge basement worked well for kids sleeping area. Location is just a couple blocks from the highway, allowing walks to the Walgreens and local stores. Just a short drive to the beach. Would enjoy renting this property in the future.
Owner's Response: The pool is amazing I agree. And thank you for the feedback about the bedrooms... it's good to know what guests want and need while on vacation.
So interesting as I just purchased dressers for the bedrooms ... so next time you visit there will be plenty of drawer space. Thanks Clare and I hope you come back this fall or next summer. You and family are wonderful guests and always love the helpful suggestions.

As you can see from the photos..the house has a personality! We loved the duckies in the pool..the outdoor space was so relaxing and inviting.

We were able to have several people over for a barbeque so comfotably. The flow form inside to outside was great.

We loved the open floorplan and found the furniture very comfortable.

Lots of parking!
Owner's Response: So glad to that you enjoyed all the duckies in the pool and my vacation home. It is important to me that my guests are comfortable AND have fun. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience at the Pool House. Come back in the fall as the pool will BE HEATED... MORE FUN!

We come to the pool house every summer and we just love it! All ages and everyone has a special place in their hearts for this house. Close to the beach, great restaurants, shopping for everyone! But most importantly the great pool. It's the best thing each morning and evening! After golfing it is so nice to come home to your own private yard and cool off before dinner! We will be back next year ! We start planning our pool house trip by October the family chatter begins. Thanks for the perfect week. LOVE this house . The Rubin family

Thank you for the wonderful time at your home. It was so much fun to get away from our busy world in the city and just relax for a few days in your vacation home. We loved all the art work and great books. It's really a great home and a wonderful kitchen. We even ventured to the beach for a brisk winter walk on the boardwalk. Rehoboth Beach was very active .. and all restaurants were full. I highly recommend visiting Rehoboth Beach during the off season. Thank you so much for a relaxing stay.

What a nice villa!

We appreciated a lot our stay with our 2 children of 18 years and 18 months (!) in this villa and perticularly the reactivity and kindness of the owner Joelle who was always quickly available when we had a question or any problem to be solve (nothing serious, a light, question on swimming pool,...)
The pool is great and teperature was very warm (around 30° C).
If we had to find something to be improved, I would suggest to have at least 1 king size bed (My husband and I are both very tall) and a flat screen TV, but again the villa is so nice, with a lot of space.
Thanks again Joelle.

Thanks to the Pool House, this was the best Labor Day Weekend ever!

The house is roomy and accommodating. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is amazing, and we can't say enough about the POOL! The pool is huge and wonderful complete with a diving board. There is even a convenient hot water outdoor shower.

The Pool House is close to everything Rehoboth has to offer. It is 2 miles from the beach and downtown eateries.

The only thing we missed was a gas grill, but that is not a show stopper. We will stay here again.
