We stayed in this lovely victorian home for 3 nights and loved it! The apartment was clean and very well maintained, the kitchen fully equipped, the bedrooms extremely comfortable. We found useful instructions for recycling, using the wifi, and getting around SF. Check in and out were smooth and we rapidly received our deposit back. Street parking was unexpectedly easy even during the weekend. Overall a great experience, we would be coming back for sure - thanks Ashley and Joe!

We recently stayed at this apartment and really liked it. The location is close to multiple bus stops, but is also within walking distance (for those who don't mind the hills) to many areas. The apartment looked just like it did in the photos and was quite clean. The beds were comfy and clean (new like they said in the description). Checking in and out was easy. I texted the owners a few times and they got back to me quickly.

I would recommend making use of public transportation - it's hard to get a good spot to park in the neighborhood, and you can only park for 2 hours at a time between 9a and 9p. You can get a 1-day/3-day or 7-day MUNI pass and the price is really reasonable AND you can use it for the busses, trolleys and cable cars. Check out El Farolito in the Mission District for some great carne asada tacos and The Vital Tea Leaf in China Town for some tea education.

Overall, I really liked this place. I would recommend this property to others, but there are some things to be aware of. When we first got in to the apartment, it was a little stale smelling (it is a basement level apartment), but that went away with some open windows. It is located on a street with quite a bit of traffic; at night, I could hear a lot of street noise. The walls are a little thin and you can hear noise from the house above and from adjoining rooms. Last, the water pressure in the shower was TOO low! It was fine everywhere else, but showering was difficult in with low pressure.

My girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in the city thanks to Joe and Ashley! The house was perfect; nice, spacious and very comfortable. It was beyond our expectations. The house is within walking distance to Hays Valley shops and restaurants and Lower Haight. We enjoyed the beer at Toronado's in Lower Haight and the German food and drink at Suppenkuche in Hays Valley. I wish we had more time to explore the surrounding parks and shops. There was so much to see and do; and all outside our front door!
Also, upon our arrival we were thrilled to discover many parking spaces right in front of the house and our cars remained there the entire weekend! (we had been nervous about finding parking, but it was no problem)

The apartment is well located. It is close to public transportation (within walking distance), although it is located on and among many hills. Hayes Street is a must-see - a great street to explore. The king bed was nice and firm.

A few oddities that we found were we never met the owners (communication was via email) and when asked for a couple of specific requests (i.e. coffee shop), we were just given a link of the neighborhood. We found the internet a bit spotty but it was included. There was no soap in the shower or garbage bags in the kitchen. This is just different from our other VRBO experiences but certainly didn't detract from our visit or enjoyment of the apartment and might have just been oversights. However, the owners were very helpful in other ways and when recommendations were provided, they were solid.

Overall we would return. We really enjoyed our stay and the apartment was good value for money.

The apartment was so clean and comfortable. It was nice to go straight there from the airport and have the key waiting when we got there. There was a hair dryer and toiletries in the bathroom which was so nice as we forgot some items. Ideal location and we really felt like we lived in San Fran for a few days. They had maps and public transit info which was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Try the domo sushi spot down the street. Delicious! Thanks for a great trip Joe and Ashley!

This was a great place to stay for our first three days in San Francisco.The apartment was ideal for our family of 5(3 older teens).Joe and Ashley could not have been more helpful and considerate.The property is in a great location to walk to local amenities.We loved staying here and would not hesitate to return on another visit to this lovely city.

There is a reason every review is 5-stars. It exceeded our expectations by a long shot. Joe & Ashley were very helpful with any of our questions prior to our stay, as well as during. Great neighborhood, with a laundry mat less than a block away for longer stays. Lots of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. It took us about 5 minutes to walk to the Muni line, & less than 10 to the BART. Lots of small convenience stores very close by if you need something ASAP.

We were a family of 5 (myself (32), my parents, and my niece and nephew(10 & 12)). There was tons of space for us.

Joe and Ashley (and Girl) were the perfect hosts: dicreet and very helpful. We recommend this big, nice and very clen appartment to any travellers. We were a family of 4 (2 boys 12 & 8) and the location was perfect. We appreciate among other things the neighborhood life, market, attractions and restaurants all near the appartment. We hope to come back and have a chance to enjoy more of the San franciscans way of life.
