Just 7 homes from 'Sunny Cove' Beach the best sheltered cove in Santa Cruz (on 17th Ave)Majestic,'18th/26th Avenue Beach,' just 7 properties away going south, is great for swimming, tanning, long walks, kite surfing, surfing, skim boarding, kite flying, and exploring tide pools. The large oceanview living room w/ a cozy gas fireplace and three very comfortable sofas is inviting for all seasons. The large bedroom w/ Pillowtop Queen bed, walk-in closet & private TV has access to the bath as well as the bed alcove room, fitted with a Twin bed, no closet. Cable w/ Movies, WiFi. Santa Cruz
The location was great - close enough to Santa Cruz that we could drive into town in ten minues, but far enough away that it was quiet.
Overall we had a lovely time and would recommend this spot to other families.
I am so glad you found the cottage family friendly so you were able to relax and enjoy your special time at the beach. Time is precious.
When we purchased the property is was important for us to be as close to the coastline as possible so we would feel like it was part of our front yard. Sunny Cove Beach, 7 properties from the house, was a big part of my life growing up and weekly entertainment for our family of six.
When my daughter was young I took her there so I could keep her safely in sight. Many guests enjoy the long beach, which is 7 properties away going South, because at low tide the sea creatures can be found.Close enough to the house for that necessary afternoon nap, or picnic preparation or my favorite pastime, sitting on the deck watching the sailboats sail by while pelicans fly by. Ahh.
Comfort and relaxation is our focus and we are constantly trying to keep in mind what our guests may need to feel like the cottage is their home away from home. A place they feel that when they return a new chapter of family memories will be made leaving a happy place in their heart.
Very nice stay. Will come here again.
The beach at the end of the street has a spectacular view of impressive waves. There are two great sandy beaches within a 5 minute stroll.
We could walk to restaurants and a small market for groceries.
Our host/property manager was very accommodating and friendly.
60th Birthday!
One week was not long enough...So we will try 2 weeks this year! I just put in a call to the owner( who is DELIGHTFUL! )
This years celebration be a Honeymoon ( officially MRS. BENSON 1-22-11) and my 61st Birthday!
