Wonderful week get away with another couple. Perfect place!! we each had our own bathroom and space to RELAX. This home did not disappoint. Wonderful pool and spa, and really enjoyed the outside speakers. Many options for things to do in the area, we were looking to relax so stayed around the house and enjoyed the pool, golf cart and scenic places to walk and explore. Very clean and many thoughtful amenities. I really liked the robe because I didn't want to waste space in the suitcase to bring mine. I highly recommend this home, thankful to Charlene for sharing.

We lived in Charlene's gorgeous home for 2 weeks with our two dogs. Despite cooler weather than we had hoped, it was very difficult to leave such a beautiful home, yard and plantation. The furniture in the living room was very comfortable, the bed in the master bedroom was the softest we've ever experienced (I'm going to buy one just like it!) and the kitchen fully stocked. Charlene's small touches were what amazed us most. We've rented many homes over the years, and never we seen such thoughtfulness by a homeowner. She provides spices, tea, coffee, paper towel, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and more. We were greeted by a personalized bottle of wine. We felt like we were home.
The yard is delightful and the golf carts fun! The hot tub is wonderful, but be aware you need to begin heating it about 7 hours before use. We ate in fabulous restaurants and the beach was perfect. We would definitely stay in Charlene's home again.

My fiancée and I decided to have our wedding with very short notice. I looked for hours trying to find a place where we could have the ceremony on the beach then the reception at a house where the bridal party could stay. No one could or would help me. Then I found Charlene and everything was perfect!! The house was immaculate and Charlene was so very helpful from start to finish. The reception was beautiful and my HUSBAND and I shared our first dance on the patio by the beautiful pool and spa. Spacious and private. Loved every minute!!!

My wife, our cute little puppy and I stayed here for an extended weekend (4 nights) in November. This place was exactly what we needed. The private backyard was nice to just wake up and have your coffee there and get your day started. The HUGE TV in the living room was a great surprise, it was a nice way to relax on the couch at the end of the night. There was only 2 of us and our dog but there was plenty of room for at least 4 guests or more.

We were there right after Hurricane Sandy so there were TONS of shells on the beach to colllect. We went to the beach every day as it was only a quick 3-5 minute ride on the Golf Cart for access. And the Golf Carts are so much fun to just get around the little gated neighborhood.

The Piano needs a little tuning but all in all this place was pretty much perfect. Didnt even expect a Piano to be there anyways. We would easily come back again for a quite relaxing get away and possibly bring more guests next time.

Also, the down town area (Fernandina Beach) is only a short 15 minute drive and is filled with tons of cute little Shops and Restaurants. Try the ice cream on the corner of 3rd and Center it was amazing.

While nice this home is a work in progress. The fixtures are being replaced and are lovely so far. The master bath had a piece of plywood cover under the counter, the kitchen cabinets are old and the TV's hard to figure out. We had 6 adults and were very excited about our trip. Upon arrival the air conditioning in the back of the house was not working. AC people had been there earlier but it wasn't repaired. The repairman was back 3 more times before it was fixed and we got to know him on a first name basis. Our first night was too hot to sleep well. We paid a hefty price and wouldn't have complained if everything had been as promised. The owner apologized but didn't offer to adjust the rental price at all. You should also know that one of the three bathrooms is outside. The description given does not disclose this fact. The owner needs to adjust the rental price until the remodeling is complete.

My family had a wonderful stay! The house was large and gave us plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the outdoor space the most of all. The kids lived in the pool. There was also ample sitting areas outside. We turned on the hot tub before we went to the beach and when we got back in a couple of hours it was warm. Having the golf carts to drive to the beach was a big plus. We also enjoyed riding the bikes that were available. There were large tables inside and outside which were perfect for our family of 9. The beds could not have been any more comfortable! I forgot to look at the brand of the sheets so I could buy some for myself. Charlene was a pleasure to work with. She even had our deposit check back to us in less than a week. She had a bottle of wine waiting for us and even texted us upon arrival to see if we needed anything. The house was extremely clean. The house was stocked with all the basic things you would need, spices,toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc... The use of a washer and dryer made things much easier. If I had to pick one thing that could have made the stay a little better would be to have access to the third bathroom from inside the house. Although it was nice to have a bathroom by the pool so we did not have to go inside wet.

Just finished a week of family vacation at Amelia Palms. Beautiful home, quiet and relaxing. The pool and spa were fantastic. Owner makes sure everything is fantastic. Really enjoyed the golf carts and the relaxing late afternoons by the pool. Will definitely be back.

Just stayed at Amelia Palms for 4 nights for an extended family trip and had a great time. The home is updated nicely with a great family room with large HD TV and beautiful modern kitchen. The pool and spa were beautiful and in great shape and it was wonderful to be able to take a dip after the beach, tennis or whatever. The spa heated up nicely to 102 deg. and had strong jets. Bedrooms were all very comfortable though the two smaller ones did share a common bathroom. We had a few minor issues that Charlene was very attentive to and took care of immediately. We loved using the golf carts to get around and there was easy access to the tennis club and the beach access was only a 5 min golf cart ride away. Overall, a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back again in the near future.
