Stayed here last week of August 2010 as a relaxing end to a 16 day trip. The property is furnished to a high standard with both bathrooms being well stocked with towels etc, there are flat screen tvs in both bedrooms with sky available. the kitchen is basic but it was good to have the BBQ out on the smaller balcony to use. We only ate out a couple of time (Bj's on the main street..very good food, not too expensive and great margaritas!) Tha large balcony outside the master bedroom was really lovely and we spent every afternoon sunbathing with a few cold beers, a couple of the sunsets were also fab. the parking infront of the garage is also an added bonus.
Huntington beach offers a chilled and relaxed atmosphere very much centered round surfing etc, there are lots of shops and eating places too. the beach was great which we went on every day but the sea is VERY cold with a very strong tide...my daughter loved the challenge though and the body board and beach chairs that were there for your use came in handy.
Mary looked after us well and even though there was a problem when we moved in with the plumbing in the kitchen sink, it was sorted by the next day and even the left washing up was all done as way of an appoligy on our return..Thanks Mary!
We tend to keep traveling to new places but if we ever return to HB then we certainly rent this property again.
