This apartment is on the 12th floor of an older, very nice, secure and clean building across Avenida Isla Verde from the El San Juan Hotel and Casino. The location is perfect- very close to some great restaurants, night spots, casinos, and beaches. The bus stop is steps away, and the parking spot provided with the apartment is a huge plus. There is a security guard on duty 24/7; some friendly, some not so much. We spoke with a woman on our floor who said she'd lived there 28 years with never a problem. The apartment itself is small, yet had everything we needed. The beach chairs and cooler were great to have available- we drove to the public Carolina Beach ($3 admission per day) that was nearly deserted and got away from all the tourists at the Isla Verde Beach. It was beautiful. The bed was comfortable, as was the futon in the living room for those getting away from snoring/restless leg husbands. The only issues I had with the apartment was that the water pressure in the shower was not always the best, the kitchen cabinets and closets were a bit hard to open (salt air, can't really be avoided), and the street sounds could be a bit noisy in the bedroom at times, usually only when idiots were driving down the street blaring music at the wee hours, so that was no fault of the apartment. The pool area looked very nice but we are not lounge-around-the-pool people, so we never used it. We would DEFINITELY stay here again. The location is absolutely perfect and the apartment was uncluttered and clean, clean, clean. It was a wonderful 2 weeks. I recommend Mi Casita, Piu Bello, and Galluzo Cafe, all nearby, for wonderful meals (breakfast and dinner) at very reasonable prices. The Blue Bar at the El San Juan Hotel is not only beautiful, but is a great time and worth every penny of the pricey drinks to people watch and dance to some great music. In Old San Juan, the mojitos and food at El Asador on San Francisco Ave. was fantastic, and the pastries and old time diner atmosphere at Mallorca Cafe on Tanca St.were awesome (as always). Thank you, Carlos! Wish we could have met you in person; we were so sad when it was time to leave. We also appreciated that you let us stay past our check-out time so that we could relax and not be "homeless" until we had to leave for the airport at 1 pm. We were lucky that no one was scheduled to come in immediately after we left, and we thank you for your generosity in allowing us to stay past the check-out time!

This condo was so cute! It had all the things you need: towels, a cooler and chairs for the beach, a very comfy bed and is decorated so cute!

It is right across the street from El San Juan Hotel, which provides a bunch of great restaurants, a casino, and a fun lobby bar!

The only thing to note is the water pressure in the shower isn't great, but the great view of the ocean makes up for it!

The perfect location,got everything around like casinos, restaurants,beach,supermarket.EVERYTHING is from walking distance.super clean,security 24/7.I will recommend to any person this place. MR. carlos thank you for everything and i will see you again on my next vacacion.

We stayed in this beautiful condo for 8 amazing nights. Because we were in such a perfect location, we rarely used the car we rented, except for a couple of days for sightseeing around the island. The condo is very clean, plenty of clean linens on hand. Carlos was a joy to work with and the security personnel within the unit are really pleasant as well. The beach was definitely the highlight of our trip and thanks to prime location of the condo, we were able to spend lots of time soaking up the rays and enjoying the beautiful ocean. We can't wait to return next year. We ate dinner at home 6 nights, as we were so relaxed and loved sitting on the balcony with our wine and enjoying the beautiful night air. Everything was just perfect and we are so happy that we ultimately chose to stay in Carlos' condo!

All I can really say is that I LOVED this place.. This condo is perfect, perfect location, perfect space, very clean, security 24/7, huge pool and the list can go on. I stayed here for 5 nights and I know that I will be contacting Carlos again when I decide to go back for another visit. Not only is the place convenient, its very affordable. I saved a lot by choosing to stay here instead of a hotel room for 5 night.. I wont lie, I was a bit nervous at first about renting a condo versus a hotel but Carlos made the process so much easier that I was ok once it was booked. Carlos is a very professional, kind, hard working person. He will make everything so much easier/comfortable for you. Trust me you will not regret booking this place. EVERYTHING is from walking distance, hotel, restaurants, beach, souvenir stores, supermarket, bars, clubs, everything..lol..

This was our first time making lodging arrangements through this type of venue (we typically stay in hotels/resorts), so you can imagine my nervousness. Up until the moment we arrived to the condo, I was worried we were either going to be told the condo didn't exist or that it would look nothing like the pictures. Fortunately this was not the case. The condo looked exactly, if not better, than the pictures. Not only that, it was extremely secure. There was 24h security and literally a key for every external and internal door you entered (apprx. 5 or so), which at times became a bit cumbersome, but the security of the building was much appreciated nonetheless. The condo itself was a decent size and nicely furnished. A family of four could sleep comfortably (parents in bedroom, 2 kids on couch). It had everything we needed from coffeemaker, cooking/dining utensils, wine bottle opener (extremely important!), WiFi, beach towels/chairs, cooler, bath towels (which were so soft and looked as if they've never been used prior to us), extra bed linens, and so much more. We felt like this was truly a home away from home, except it may have been better furnished than my own home. LOL!

I couldn't have wished for a better experience. Let me warn you though, Carlos seems to be a very busy man so at times his responses to my queries weren't the quickest (so of course this made me even more nervous). I was also expecting him to meet us at the condo when we arrived to show us around, but he was out of town on business. But when it was all said and done, I realized that I had absolutely nothing to worry about. In fact, once we arrived I kind of liked the fact that he wasn't there (to eliminate any awkwardness). All in all, I’d highly recommend this place and can definitely see us staying here again the next time we visit PR. This was both of our 1st times in PR but hopefully not our last. PR is an absolute gem, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The people are very friendly/accommodating and the beaches are just plain lovely. Be sure to check out the surfers at Liquillo beach and the nice serene beach at Ocean Park (both of these are driving distance away, but there’s a beach <5 min walk from the condo that is nice as well). Also, El San Juan hotel is the place to be seen on the weekends, so be sure to pack your dancing shoes because you’ll be dancing all night in the hotel’s lobby. Ugh! So wish we were still there…

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the condo for four nights. What more can we say other that it was outstanding. We have stayed at many places on Isla Verde you could not compare to Carlos condo. The condo is well equiped for your needs, the weekend noise on Isla verde Avenue was not an issue providing a peacefull relaxing night.. Great place to relax!!! We look forward to our next visit. This condo was perfect! It was very clean, had everything we needed and was in a great location! Carlos was very nice and helpful with any questions I had. We loved that we had a place where we could make our own breakfast and lunch each day to save on money. There were lots of things within walking distance and most other things were only a short cab ride away. I would recommend for anyone planning on doing a lot of exploring to look into renting a car. We were surprised at how expensive the cabs were and feel we would have saved money if we had just rented a car instead. Overall we had a fantastic trip and I would definitely stay at this condo again.
