Tom and Julie have created a mountain cabin experience that can only be described as heavenly. It is what travel books attempt to find and describe. Beautiful Lake Blaine just across the quiet road, Glacier Natonal Park 10 minutes away .Look out the window and see deer, geese, hawks, ducks, etc. The cabin is luxurious, rustic impeccably clean and highly organized . Tom and Julie put great thought into every aspect of the beautiful cabin. We did not want to leave the property and when we did for adventure we longed to return each day. We enjoyed the most wonderful breakfast and dinners each day while admiring the sunrise and sunsets. Truly spectaculiar! After our stay we spent 6 nights at the Four Seasons Hotel in Jacksonhole, Wyoming, and found ourselves missing the cabin. Upon our return home we quickly booked for 2013. Thank you Tom and Julie for a great and fabulous stay.

Tom and Julie have a jewel in the mountains. We stayed in their beautiful cabin a week and wished we could of stayed longer. Everything was perfect, the cabin was so clean and comfortable that we really looked forward to coming "home" at the end of the day. Tom and Julie have done a wonderful job and are the perfect hosts. We enjoyed exploring Montana as there is so much to do and see. We wish you continued success and if we come that way again we will definitely stay with you! Stay here when going to Glacier National Park

We just got back from a 12 day trip to Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. By far, this was our favorite lodging of the whole trip! We were amazed by the breathtaking Montana scenery and loved all the creature comforts of the cabin. Great location for exploring GNP (20-30 minute drive to main entrance). Charming cabin has lake/pond view with lots of wildlife (turkeys, ducks, deer). Impeccably decorated and you will want for nothing - owners have provided just about everything to make for a pleasant stay. Perfect place for our family to spread out and relax after a long day of hiking. Thanks, Tom & Julie!

Best Vacation Rental We Have Ever Stayed In.... SERIOUSLY!!!!

The Cabin is a mix of old and new... it was built using reclaimed wood from over 100 years ago and then furnished with the best of the best. From the bathroom sink handles to the high-end cooking utensils to the plasma TV over the gas fireplace this Cabin is fit for royalty. And as if that wasn't enough, the two hosts were exceedingly helpful and kind. They checked us in and showed us everything we could need at their home, and then left us to our own devices. We were surprised to find a freshly baked plate of chocolate chip cookies, a bottle of champagne, and some locally made jam waiting for us in the kitchen! This rental is a must-stay if you are travelling to the area, Tom and Julie couldn't be better hosts to an amazing Cabin.

Lake Blaine Mountain Resort - What a Gem!!

I was meeting my brother & his wife for a mini family reunion and we wanted a cabin rather than a motel room for our 5 night visit. When I found Tom & Julie's cabin I was excited and happy as it sounded great. When we arrived we were totally surprised by it's fabulous accommodations and the beautiful location. We were close to Glacier for our daily trips to explore the park yet peacefully located in the county with beautiful views of the mountains and lake. The cabin was beautiful and it was like staying in a luxury resort. It had beautiful furniture and decorations and almost anything you needed for the kitchen, including coffee & spices. The cabin even included a high efficiency washer & dryer with everything you need for laundry, 3 TV's and internet access. We enjoyed watching the deer, eagles and wild turkeys right outside our door along with the beautiful sunsets on the lake and the stars at night. Tom & Julie were great hosts offering suggestions on what to see, how to get there and the best restaurants to visit if we were not using the beautiful kitchen in the cabin. Tom even hooked up a hose for us to use to wash off our SUV since we had traveled some dirt roads in our travels to the Glacier area. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone traveling to the Glacier area and it would definitely be the only place we would stay if we return to Glacier. Thank you Tom & Julie.

Tom & Julie were delightful hosts. They were so accomodating and respectful of us as guests and they have made an incredible transformation to the cabin and grounds. Every detail was considered in the design of this 'cabin.' The location along a stream/lake with views of the mountains was so relaxing. Although we stayed at the cabin to tour Glacier Nationa Park, we never wanted to leave the cabin because there was so much wildlife within view right outside our door--deer, coyotes, kingfisher, even a river otter swimming in the stream. This place has the perfect balance of rural setting combined with designer elegance. A must see!

Loved the cabin- everything was just as clean and new as could be. Owners are so great and easy to work with. Layout was really fun, our daughter really enjoyed staying in the loft area. Location is great - easy access to Kalispell, Columbia Falls and West Glacier. We saw a bald eagle, and loads of ducks and geese from the porch. Will definitely try to stay at this property again on our next trip to Montana!

A Great time in Kalispell

The "Log Cabin" at Lake Blane Mountain Resort was an order of magnitude better than any other house rental/hotel we've ever stayed at. Felt like I was staying in a millionaire's home with the lavish furnishings and modern design. Couldn't believe the amount of light that came in the two story bay windows with the morning sun. The majestic Swan Range forms a green verdant 3,000 foot high wall about 1 mile to the east. Enjoyed the bald eagle that came to visit a few times to perching on the surrounding trees and fence posts. Web photos do show how beautiful the interior looks but pale in comparison to standing inside the Cabin when the morning sun first peaks in. Not sure any photograph could do it justice -- it's one of those things that has to be experienced in person. Sunning on the patio was one of my wife's highlight moments during the trip. Talk about squeaky clean! Everything was brand new. Tom and Julie were the best of hosts. I was very impressed at Tom's effort to correct an internet connection issue I was having on my computer. It was very apparent that he wanted our stay there to be perfect and it was! Sure I would recommend the Cabin to family and friends but no further --- otherwise I would be shouting out the location of a modern day Shangri La. We kept ourselves busy hiking trails in Glacier (e.g., St. Mary Lake and Avalanche), visiting Canada (a first for our boys), paddling kayaks in Lake Blane and Swan Lake, taking in "My Fair Lady" at the Big Fork Theater, and playing an extended game of Monopoly while lounging in the comfort of the Cabin. Sportsmen's Ski Haus in Kalispell provide kayak rentals (with all necessary gear) for $30/day. "Wheat Montana" provided a lunch and the "Park Cafe" provided a scrumptious dinner in East Glacier. Try the pie there -- a well earned world-wide reputation. Otherwise, we had memorable family dinners at the Cabin. Our experience there will not soon fade.
