Feel at home in Recoleta

This property is so much fun! We were surprised at how easy it was to walk to Recoleta Cemetery, to the plaza for outdoor cafes and bars. There is a nice little grocery store about a 1/2 block away with great fresh produce. The apartment itself is well stocked, comfortable, and a quiet getaway after a busy day sightseeing. I would recommend this property highly.

Fantastic experience!

We spent hours looking at listings and talking with owners before making our choice and the effort paid off. The apartment was as described, very clean, in an excellent location. Any questions, concerns or problems were easily resolved as there is a property management company looking after the apartment, a resident building caretaker and the owners were a phone call away. This is not your typical scenario when renting in South America and we were appreciative of the support. The apartment is located at the back of the building so there was no street noise.
The location allows you to walk to most of the main attractions and the subway station is less than 5 minutes walking. There are two grocery stores nearby, several bakeries, a laundry across the street and numerous restaurants. Everything we needed was very handy.
The apartment accomodated our family of five adults comfortably.
I would stay there again if I returned to Buenos Aires and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Exceeded all expectations!!

After many weeks of searching VRBO, my husband and I finally agreed on renting this apartment. We stayed here with another couple for a week. After arriving, we all knew we had made the right decision. The apartment is very clean and well set up with anything you’d need during a stay. It is very close walking distance to MANY wonderful shops, restaurants, sights and the subway.
We were greeted by the maintenance/door man who became our new friend. He couldn't speak English, but we learned to communicate anyway. After we settled in, the property manager Sue came to greet us and showed us all the apartment amenities. She's a lovely lady and speaks very good English.
The bedrooms are located on the first and second floor. Both bathrooms are on the first floor, so the user of the second bedroom must come downstairs to use it. The apartment has a back patio, which is nice for sitting and sipping a glass of wine. The kitchen is compact, but functional. The only necessity missing is a clothes washer/dryer, but a laundry is across the street.
Rueben, the owner, was excellent to work with in booking our week and followed up with us after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. There is a phone in the apartment to call him, if a problem arises. Our deposit was returned within a few days of leaving Buenos Aires. If you’re looking for a 2 bdr private apartment in a nice area of Buenos Aires, this is the right place to stay.

Four of us stayed here during the first two weeks of April. It's an excellent alternative to a hotel. The furnishings and design are most pleasant. The owners have engaged an Argentinian woman named Sue to help with any detail of your stay. She speaks perfect English and was a great help to us.

I must say that staying in your place during our trip was absolutely the best decision I´ve made in our travels. We love it!!! ...it is an AMAZING apartment and all the furnishings are wonderful!! We love your style and have enjoyed our stay more than we imagined. We will definitely recommend the same for any of our friends that come to BA... and after our trip I think Americans will come to know that BA is a hidden gem when it comes to foreign travel…..It has now been over a month since we returned from our BA trip. I wanted to let you know that we all agree that the decision to stay at your apartment was pivotal in making it such a wonderful vacation. We were beyond pleased with the amenitities and the staff at ApartmentsBA. We simply could not have asked for anything better. Also, thank-you for your bar/café recommendations. We went to Bar Uriarte the first night and loved it. We are already talking about making a return trip since there was so much to see and do in the city alone...much more in the rest of Argentina. We truly loved it.

The Azcuenaga apartment exceeded our expectations with well appointed bathrooms, artfully decorated living areas, and the wifi-cable computer loft. However, the most enchanting area was the lush, enclosed patio with wall fountain. Our home away from home was also used as a base camp to explore the splendor of Buenos Aires, Mar Del Plata, Balcarace and Uruguay. Especially intriguing was the close proximity of wonderful family-owned restaurants and businesses. Allowing us to create new international friendships, with whom we are keeping in touch with today. Our teens also felt comfortable walking around town, and so did we. As an added bonus to this experience was a gracious gentleman name Juan-Carlos, who looked after us and went above and beyond his duties as portero. We hope to use our home away from home many times again. We love Buenos Aires!

I wanted to review this apartment because I really feel that these people know what they're doing.
I was suspect of renting an apartment in the first place. When I called and asked as many questions as possible, I was quickly satisfied getting straight forward answers that I felt were truthful.
I got the sense that these people were professional when I received a follow up call 2 days later asking if I had any other questions and/or had made any decisions. I wasn't quite ready to seal the deal - just then. I responded with "I needed to do more research" on the subject. I was quickly greeted with more information and sites to help me make a decision with a scheduled follow up call sheduled.
I was a bit surprised because the other sites I called answered my questions but had zero follow up. I'm in sales, I don't like sales pitches but I do like professionalism and follow through.
By the second follow up call I was convinced that this was the place for me to rent. I felt as if they were an active and participating team that had great follow up and would be there, should I need any assistance.
When I decided to reserve this apartment I stated so and was quickly e-mailed with rental disclosures and rental confirmation. My travel dates and times were confirmed and more follow up calls before and after my landing and taking possession.
The apartment was absolutely beautiful and exactly as it shows online. Impressed and relaxed now that all seemed inline. I enjoyed the city and the apartment. After my stay, I received yet another e-mail asking if the apartment and service had met my expectations.
Great Vacation, Great Apartment and Excellent Service.
