Say you don’t like that 'Downtown' kind of culture? The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and its Giant Dipper roller coaster are also 15 minutes away. The Boardwalk is a quintessential seaside amusement park in a style circa about 1965.

Due to the floor plan of the cottage it is best suited to couples and small families. The kitchen/dining area is light, bright, and roomy, and separate from the family room where the TV is located. The Garden Bedroom has a queen bed and large closet, and looks through a big sliding door onto the garden, while the “Kids” bedroom is smaller and has a (two twins) trundle bed. The bathroom is located off the “Kids” room, so everyone had better be very close friends or family. Overall floor space of the cottage is ample for 4

Madeline’s Cottage is located behind our own personal home on our 1/3 acre lot, so you will not feel wedged in amongst a lot of other vacation rentals, and we take pride in making your stay as pleasant as possible. Our location, while across the street from the beach, does not have an ocean view; you must walk a few doors down for that.

The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with all utensils, but if you have special needs or interests please let us know. Also, if you have dust allergies and let us know that a bit in advance we can remove all soft-surface flooring from the cottage.
