St. Pete Beach voted 'Best Beach in the US' by Trip Advisor!
This newly renovated cottage (August 2013) is the perfect place to get away from it all. Fun and bright atmosphere will keep you in vacation mode, and your side yard 'beach' is a great place to relax and cook out.
This private home is located in the perfect beach location with no busy roads between you and the beach and the best local restaurants and watering holes within 2-3 blocks. Walk to everything you need, including grocery store, Corey Ave shopping and arts district, restaurants, and of course the white sandy beach. The home is not at all fancy, but is very neat, clean, well-equipped and fun.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes/utensils, coffee maker, blender, pots and pans and glassware. Everything you could need should you decide to cook in. The two bedrooms each have a full-size bed with linens provided, and a fold-out sofa in the living room can accommodate overflow. Just one fairly small bathroom, so you might not want to bring a crowd here.
You'll spend many hours in the adorable sun room at the front of the house, and the kitchen leads to a large very private patio that is perfect for cookouts or sunbathing. The driveway is very large with room for parking an RV or boat, and a utility room offers full-size washer/dryer.

I was a Realtor specializing in selling Residential homes when one of my clients considered buying this house and then decided against it. It is just so cute and well located--I bought it myself! I live 10 minutes away but love staying here myself when it is not rented.
The location of this home is ideal. I love St. Pete Beach and this home allows you to walk to the beach without crossing Gulf Blvd (very busy and tough to cross) AND is situated a very short walk to my favorite restaurants--Woody's, Philthy Phil's (now the 'Dacqueri Shack', Dockside Dave's and Jimmy B's. And to top it off, it is just two blocks from Corey Ave where there are more restaurants, and the Arts Festivals and outdoor market are held. The city recently put in a gorgeous swimming pool less than a mile away, and Sweetbay grocery is just 4 blocks away.
The property just has a comfortable, relaxing feel to it. The huge shade tree out front allows me to keep windows open most of the time and enjoy a nice breeze. (A/C is there and works well--I just personally like open windows.) And I love not having to get in my car. I can walk almost anywhere, or can take the trolley up and down Gulf Blvd. and now even into downtown St. Petersburg. Or take the 'free beach rides' service for local rides for only the cost of a tip to the driver.
