My husband and I stayed here for the 2nd year in a row and loved it. This house is on a quiet street not far from the beach. Within a short drive you can get to the mall, shopping, anywhere. Would recommend the new restaraunt "The Lake House" over at the Shoreline Inn, wonderful food, ourdoor dining by the water, was great. Matt is a very pleasant owner and is there to help make your stay great. Loved the fenced in backyard for the dogs and the spacious sunroom is a plus. Wonderful evenings for grilling out or having a bonfire! Would highly recommend this house and owner for your stay in Muskegon!

Unfortunately my wife and I had to cancel our trip due to unforseen circumstances. But I did want to provide an excellent review for the owner Matt. Matt was extremely pleasant and very easy to deal with. He responded immediately to my initial inquiry regarding the property. He returned my calls and emails the same day. He was very knowledgeable about the area and even offered to meet us at the house to show us everything...including the local Lake Michigan beach. And most importantly, I could tell that he took pride in his home. And that as nice as the pictures of this home are online, I'm sure it is even better in person!! Excellent owner and service!! Thanks Matt.

Excellent, Pet friendly vacation home

This home has everything you need! Great backyard with firepit and gas grill, fenced in for the dogs or kids to run and quiet area. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, air conditioning works great, very clean and has a large living area - also nice walk to the lake. We stayed here June of 2010 to watch our daughter compete in the Miss Michigan pageant and are looking forward to another stay this June as she competes again. Close to area shopping and restaraunts. All around perfect vacation home for your next stay in Muskegon, MI!

Family friendly, great location

Our family stayed at this home while visiting relatives, and we were very pleased. It's residential location is quiet and only a few minutes walking distance from Mona Lake. My children especially loved the park right next to the beach, as well as the fenced-in backyard. I was very happy with the cleanliness, and that the kitchen was so well stocked. My older children most enjoyed hanging out in the new sunroom.
We felt very much at home here, and hope to return in the near future.

Beautiful Vacation Home

My wife and son had the privelage of staying this vacation home last fall and we couldn't be more satisfied.
We based our vacation (traveling from Chicago to Muskegon) on the pictures provided. Quite honestly this is one of the most beautiful homes we have stayed in. We are avid travelers and we would rate this home a 10 of 10.
Not only is the home very quiet and peacefull it is also very central to other venues. A wonderful location and the cleanliness was 5 star.
I would recommend this property to anyone and everyone and we plan on booking this property for another vacation for the fall of '09.

I have stayed at this house twice and have been completely satisfied with it both times. It is exactly what the property owner describes and is close to everything. The last time we stayed there we celebrated my birthday in the backyard at the fire pit. Incredible evening spent just minutes away from the best water in MI. I definitely reccomend the house to anyone looking for a great place to get away.
