Arrived with a forecast of cold, cloudy weather; but Mother Nature smiled on us and we enjoyed a perfect weekend. The house is beautiful, comfy, and welcoming. The view is magnificent; and we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening, sipping a glass of wine and watching the sun set across the water. Everything was ready for our arrival; everything we needed was provided. We love to walk. The hills are daunting, but it is a great area to explore. This was our first experience with VRBO, and we were so pleased with our choice. Loved the house and will definitely stay again when visiting the Lake.

We had a great time, so relaxing and as we were sitting on the deck a bald eagle flew right BELOW us, never in my life have I saw such a majestic creature within feet of touching it (WOW). Thanks for sharing your property.

Had a wonderful spring break with our grandkids. The lake view was incredible and the kids loved throwing snowballs off the main deck. The amenities of Tan Tar A are so enjoyable, we were never bored. Love the Bluff House and VRBO.

This place was perfect for our family!

We had a birthday party we had to attend at the Lake of the Ozarks, and this was the perfect place for our group of 3 adult couples. The view was incredible, as it sits on top of a bluff, and you get a great shot of the main channel. The kitchen and grill worked perfect for making a breakfast for the group. Each room had it's own private balcony as well that overlooked the lake.
I have stayed at many places at the Lake of the Ozarks, but none as nice as this. If this place is available for your dates and meets your size requirments, I would highly recommend it!

Stayed at the Bluff House for fall break with 4 other couples. We had a marvelous time and were awestruck by the fabulous views from the decks! Highly recommend it anyone looking for a relaxing break close to golf and other lake fun.

My husband and I stayed at the Bluff House with our two daughters, son-in-law, grandaughter age 2 1/2 and grandson age 1. We all had a great time and we were very comfortable in the house. There was enough room for everyone to have their space when they needed it. The view of the lake from inside the house and all the decks is beautiful. Our grandchildren had a lot of fun watching the boats on the lake.

Great house, beautiful view!

I rented this house for a Labor Day weekend trip. Seven of us stayed and there was more than enough space. The kitchen/living area has been updated recently and we found that there was ample counter and table space for eating and hanging out. The views from the living area and each bedroom are great. The highlight of the property is the main deck which has gorgeous views of the lake and the sunsets. The downstairs and back bedrooms offer plenty of privacy. The third bedroom is a loft style above the main living area. Each room has its own private deck/balcony. It was definitely worth the price!

Even more than we had hoped for!

I stayed in this beautiful home with my family for a week in early June, 2011. We had a rocky start, but things quickly improved, and our week here was everything I could have hoped for. My party included my partner and I, my 20 year old son, and my parents - more than enough sleeping space. The home and view is so inviting that my brother, his wife and their two kids spent almost every waking moment with us, and there was still plenty of space. The location is wonderful, you feel almost suspended over the lake, and the sunsets from the decks were breathtaking. Having a deck off each room is a wonderful bonus, allowing privacy when needed without sacrificing the views. I will happily return to this home, in fact my sister-in-law has already recommended it to other visitors!

Perfect for our family!

We had a blast on the lake! There were 8 of us total; my husband and myself along with our grown children, their spouses, and 2 babies. Each family had their own full bathroom and the bedrooms were large and spacious. Plenty of room for travel baby beds and we weren't falling over each other. It was very handy to have our own laundry room also. The pictures don't do justice to this property or the fabulous views of the lake. You have to experience it all for yourself.
