Location fantastic, read on

Let me preface this review by saying that we are a small-town family unaccustomed to big city noise. Typically we'd stay on a high floor of a hotel, but on this trip we couldn't find rooms within our budget. The property is on the second floor of an ancient apartment building, above a bar. Add that to a loose manhole cover in the street, and even with earplugs it was nigh impossible to sleep. On the plus side, the air-conditioner worked well, the cable TV received many channels and could play CDs & DVDs. The location, right on Restaurant Row (W.46 St.) could not be beat. Hell's Kitchen, the Theatre District and Times Square were at our fingertips. We were mere steps from fantastic gourmet dining. There were no bugs, bed or otherwise; not a surprise since the odor of cleaning chemicals was very strong. Negatives included broken window blinds, noisy kitchen fan, stopped up bathroom sink and a runny toilet. We had to buy our own paper towels, hair dryer and travel iron. There was only one very small dresser and the pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The office size fridge worked well, but its freezer compartment needed defrosting. None of this proved to be a vacation spoiler; we had a great time in New York regardless.

Location was great. After walking up three flights of stairs in a dirty dark hallway the apartment was fine. There were no dishes, soap, coffee maker, toilet paper and other things that we expected that were listed on the web site. The owner was very nice he had to come that evening to put sheets on the bed. I would recomend this property to three or four guys wanting to party but not good for taking the wife on vacation to NY.

Literally 1 block from Times Square in the middle of restaurant row. Loved it. Very clean and roomy enough. Only drawback could be, it is a front of building apt, so street noise can be loud. Did not bother us one bit, we were tired enough from our sightseeing that it was never an issue. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was great only a short walk to `time square . The apartment was well kept and clean. We loved the vaulted ceiling .When I asked the ladies that I traveled with on a scale of 1-10 what would they rate this apartment they said 8 . Everything was very clean there was plenty of room to sleep and we even cooked breakfast one morning .The apartment was stocked with everything that you would need to pack light and enjoy your trip. The building is secure and safe and the owener made us feel at home . It was great I would in a heart beat return . But you may want to leave the car at home parking is crazy but the sub way is a few blocks away andyou can go any where
