Outstanding Getaway Weekend

smallmouthbass bucks county
Review Submitted: October 2, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
Had a great weekend with three fishing buddies from work. Easy to get to, beautiful quiet surroundings, the property provides a clean comfortable cabin that is less then two minutes from the river right off the back porch. All of us caught fish every day up and down the river. The use of kayaks and canoe made it even better and seeing an eagle right behind the house was extra nice.

Everything we needed was on property, and food can be had in Narrowsburg about five minutes away.

If you like the outdoors, fish, or just want to getaway;
go to the riverfront cabin.

Perfect Getaway

My family and I rented the cabin for a quiet family getaway for my husbands 40th birthday. It was a charming cabin full of family bonding time. The eagles were there singing to us every morning as we sat on the porch, and the peacefulness of the woods was very relaxing. A perfect place to just get away from it all. We can't wait to go back!! Great great vacation!

Birdwatchers Paradise

Review Submitted: October 9, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
Just returned from wonderful week of solitude at the cabin with my boyfriend and black lab. The cabin was clean and cozy. The owners have thoughtfully provided lots of amenities.such as kayaks, canoes, firewood, field guide etc.
The highlight of our trip was watching a pair of bald eagles, which were roosting, across the river from the cabin. Each morniing, while drinking coffee on the porch we were lured to the river by their calls. On some occasions we were treated to the majestic sight of the eagles leaving thier roost as the mist rose.
Our trip was so enjoyable we're hoping to return this winter.

The most charming place we've ever stayed! The surrounding is beautiful and just steps away from the Delaware River.
TIP: If you canoe up the river ,on the right side there is a small island that you can land on, and just relax on its sandy beach ( Don't tell anyone ;) )
The inside of the cabin is super clean and very cozy.
Will definitely go back!

Looking for Peace and Quiet July 2009

solitude seeker Forest Hill, MD
Review Submitted: July 28, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
After a very busy spring, we were looking for a place for our family to spend some time together away from everything. We could not have asked for a better place to do that. The house cute, comfortable, clean and well supplied for anything. Whether you enjoy canoes or tubes on the river or choose to take the hiking trails, the days are filled with beautiful sky and lots of wildlife. The evenings were spend playing games or just sitting on the porch watching the birds, chipmunks and deer as then traveled through. We ate every meal at a table on the porch as we continued to watch the animals. It is a wonderful secluded cabin, great for unwinding and spending quality time with family. We had a great time and would love to visit again soon!

Excellent Escape!!!

City Fishers Brooklyn, NY
Review Submitted: June 23, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
This very well-maintained cabin has all the comforts of home and all the beauty that nature has to offer in one place. We came (from NYC) with a group of friends and our 10 month old Vizsla puppy (after checking with the owner) for an relaxed fishing vaca, and puppy's first trip into real nature. What a blast! The house is beautiful, the land is beautiful, and it boasts the nicest walk down to the river.
We all had the best time cooking and sitting on the back porch, playing cards and relaxing while the birds and chipmunks came to gather at the bird feeders. Our pup even tried to get a chipmunk to play ball with her - (she's used to really small dogs, and the chipmunk politely declined).
The kayaks and canoe provided at the house were fantastic as well, with everyone taking a spin on the river, or sitting in the shade waiting for the fish to get hungry.
Excellent cabin rental - we'll definitely be going back!

My family and I have stayed at this cabin and loved it. The location can't be beat - total privacy! The surroundings are majestic, stunning views of the woods and river. The cabin is clean, well maintained and well equipped. We used the tubes, kayaks and canoes provided at the site daily. The hiking trails are scenic and beautiful. Perfect for a family or couple who are looking to re-connect - no distractions. I highly recommend this vacation rental.
