Bright, colorful and tropical this freshly remodeled home is located within easy walking distance to convenience store and Olympic size swimming pool /spa.
TV with DVD player and a music system that plays both cassettes and CD are conveniently located in front room which has playful tropical decorations. Comfortable futon sofa and chairs to relax inside. Family friendly unit with board games, DVD movies and books.
Master bedroom is decorated in peaceful blue tones, queen size bed, TV and closet. The bathroom is spacious with a large shower stall.
Guest bedroom with colorful tropical decor has a twin bed and TV.
Cook inside in easy access kitchen with large counter space and skylight vent, attractive tile and wood dining table. Or barbeque on the gas grill and eat outside in the large private yard.
There's two picnic tables both with umbrellas and an assortment of comfortable lounge chairs. Washer/Dryer also comes with this property.

Georgia purchased this house in 2000
My family and I have been traveling to the keys from the time I was a little girl, we have stayed at many different locations and enjoyed many happy times. When we found Venture Out back in the 80's we knew we had finally found our home away from home. When I had my own family and daughter , I knew I had to share this special place. We had rented for many years and were fortunate enough to buy our own home in 2000. As a family we have had so many happy times and continue to watch our daughter grow and enjoy the Venture Out experience at every age.
We really love our home and spend all the school vacations and love to visit in the summer. We leave the house, for renters as we would leave it for ourselves, and encourage you to use everything as if it were your own home. Fishing poles, bikes, games, DVD’s, BBQ, outdoor furniture. We love to sit in the back at night surrounded by the palms, with our little twinkling lights on and just relax.......

The best place for our family in the Keys!!

This is a perfect place for families wanting to have a great time in the Keys, The location on Cudjoe Key gives you the best access to the beach and close to Key West without all the noise! The grocery store is close, the neighbors are super friendly. The Venture Out place has great things to do and it very family friendly. The pool is gorgeous and you can fish right by the boat ramps.
The house was great for our family of four. The beds and comfy and our daughter loved the butterfly room and our son crashed on the futon with lots of extra room. Georgia is an amazing host and the house is fully stocked with everything you will need to relax and have fun in the sun. The washer/dryer is a super plus with sandy clothes and the dishwasher made cooking in easy. There are lots of beach towels, fishing rods and sand toys already there. We awoke to breakfast on the outdoor patio with the friendly lizards and spent days having fun and returned to grill out our catch of the day or enjoy a Keys sunset. If you are looking for a great house, in a great location this is your place. We were thrilled with the whole experience and will tell everyone heading to the Keys that this is the spot to stay!

Just like home

Georgia's house was perfect for our family. It had all of the comforts of home and the resort at Venture Out was great. The house itself was well appointed and well kept. We appreciated all of the good cookware, comfortable beds and overall cleanliness. We could tell that Georgia keeps the place maintained. The new bedroom was also a great addition. The description on Home Away was accurate and it didn't miss anything. When we needed anything prior to our arrival, Georgia was always available via email or phone to answer all of our questions. We appreciated the close proximity to all of the lower Keys activities. We would definitely recommend this house to friends and would stay there again. As for the resort itself, it was safe and quiet and our kids had a blast at the pool because it was warm. We are already thinking about our next trip to the Keys. Thanks for a great stay!

Loved it. Perfect size, perfect location and perfectly decorated. First time we ever rented for an extended period of time, and it was the best. Loved being abel to sit out side and enjoy the company of the wonderful neighbors. Trying to talk som friends into coming to Venture Out. However, I want Georgia's place. She really new how to make us feel at home. As with all real estate, location, location, location. And this house has it.

Great Place!

I was looking for a more economical place to stay in the Keys this year, and found Georgia's place at Venture Out. I used to come here and always rented the big high rise stilted houses. They were about twice the price of Georgia's place and honestly I was just as happy and maybe even more happy staying here. (After about the second trip up those stairs of the stilted homes carrying groceries I had enough! Georgia's place is an older unit, I think original to the park - I guess you call it "Bohemian Chic" which is the style of the Keys. You can see the owners are here often and really take good care of the unit. Everything is freshly painted and new bedding, towels, dishes, etc. I remember being in one of the more "fancy" places and being kind of surprised that the cups and dishes were all mismatched and the towels were cheap hotel type. I guess that is one of the big differences of some units here at Venture Out - some are used just for rental income where Georgia's place you could get a sense of pride they have in their home. Really clean and nice place to stay.

Perfect Getaway

In June I took my mom down to the keys for her first time and we stayed in this wonderful getaway home. It was very clean and cozy with a perfect sitting area outside to chat the night away. There was a really good feeling in the home and it was everything that i hoped it would be. Each morning we started with a dip in the waterside pool and then made the short trip to Key West to explore. I was very pleased that we were able to bring my little dog as she is also part of our family and I didn't want to have to exclude her. The community's ammenities and overall location were very convenient and Georgia(owner) was absolutely wonderful and made everything smooth and stressfree!

I want to go back....

The owner is super awesome, and it reflects in her property. You will not be disappointed with the keys, and this fine place to stay. To start, the property has everything you need, and nothing you don't. It is located in a perfect spot, which is a short drive to Keys west, and when you are sick of the "touristy" stuff you can relax in the tranquility that is the lower keys. This place has plenty of room to stretch out, and the resort is well kept and even has a boat ramp, washing facilities and secure storage for your water toys. I recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive getaway and anyone looking for instant relaxation. I will be returning to the keys soon, and this is where I will be staying for sure... :-)

Really Nice Place

Over the years I've stayed at a lot of different rentals here at Venture Out and throughout the Keys. This has to be one of my favorites. It is very well kept up, you can really tell the owners really come often themselves and take a lot of pride in the unit. (Sometimes I have found owners will use these properties as investments and don't go that extra mile to check on them personally like Georgia does.) I also appreciate that this unit has a wonderful central location right near the front gate and walking distance to the pool and store - no need to get in your car all the time. Some units I have stayed at can be so far away that I just didnt use the pool as much as I did staying here. I would definately rent this home again and stay longer next time! Very relaxing, clean, a great value too! Enjoy

Going back to the Keys

I hadn't been to the Keys in over 10 years and was a little worried about going on my own with my two boys (ages 13 and 10) but we had an awesome experience staying here. Venture Out is ideal in that it is an easy 20 minutes to Key West and yet far enough away for it to be peaceful and quiet to relax and explore. I loved feeling secure in a gated community and the boys loved feeling independent to explore on the bikes (provided) to find good fishing spots, go to the Rec Hall and store, or go to the beautiful pool. The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and well maintained (the a/c made it frosty cold and the kitchen was so well outfitted for cooking it was really fun). I loved being able to walk to the marina, store, and pool to buy a paper and coffee and still have the privacy of the backyard to lay out or take a nap. Last time I was in the Keys my son was 3 years old and some of the houses we stayed at had the tall decks or were on the canal I was constantly worried he would fall off or in the water I could never relax - but this unit is practically one level with a semi enclosed backyard and great open room for kids to spread out and play games that are provided. And the pool is so close you could go back and forth all day. You could really tell the owners are there a lot and take excellent care of maintence, I can be kind of a neat freak so I really look around. It also was also very 'friendly' house. I wasn't constantly worried about the kids breaking something or I didn't put something away just right - some houses can be such showrooms I can never get comfortable. I loved laying in bed late watching a movie while the kids had the whole living room area to watch their shows and play games. I also want to mention that I ate at maybe 20 different places between Cudjoe Key and Key West and by far the best and most resonable one is practically at the end of the street called "The Square Grouper" - you could actually ride your bike there. Finally people without kids - you would love the soft breeze and twinkeling lights in the backyard palms at night - it's very romantic - and you practically have the hot tub and pool to yourself untill 10 or 11 at night. Enjoy!!! It was an awesome, easy, relaxing vacation. I can't wait to go back!
