Great House for our Trip

We had a blast at this house during the Colorado/UT weekend game. The house is perfectly located across from a large grocery store--walking distance. Great Mexican restr. just about 5 minutes away--Juan in a Million. House is perfectly staffed with all necessities. The fruit and cookies were delicious that Kevin left in the kitchen. Easy access to all places in Austin--just one mile off Highway 35.

My girlfriends and I came to Austin for the weekend and this house made the weekend amazing! The location was ideal being so close to the downtown area which made our visit easy to see several sites in Austin and a taxi one way to downtown was only $6. It was nice to feel like we were at home and not in a hotel, and the space made it easy to entertain our little group with the available kitchen. Kevin, the owner, was fantastic. He made it easy to get the key by meeting us at the house and giving us a quick tour, offering suggestions to area restaurants and leaving us with some baked chocolate chip cookies which didn't last more than 15 minutes after Kevin left! Thanks for making our girls weekend extra special - it will be hard to top this rental and we will be coming back!

My friends and I stayed at this great house for three weeks in August. I loved being so close to downtown and taking advantage of all the great places to go. The house is so clean and the decor is refreshing. The space was quite open and comfortable. I stayed in the master bedroom where the king size bed was amazing and the closet space was immense. I loved the light fixtures and the buddha head was calming.

The owners of the house were so helpful and knowledgeable of the city. I celebrated my birthday the first week I was there and they gave me at least 20 different options of where to go. They responded and had an answer to every question we had.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in Austin. They would not be disappointed. I surely wasn't.

Cleanest coolest perfect mid size contemporary house for 3 friends or 3 couples.
Very comfy beds and great bathrooms, nice appliances & TV.
Although this is not a " high end" neighborhood its a safe one with friendly neighbors. Its so close to 6th street, there are terrific authentic mexican restaurants in quick walking distance and a grocery store right across the street.
Its easy, stylish and comfortable and I would highly recommend it for the value and style.
We called fast affordable taxis all weekend to take us to South Congress, Warehouse district and 6th street.

My girlfriends and I stayed here for our annual girls weekend. The house was beautiful. Everything was brand new and very comfortable. The location was close to everything we needed, groceries, shops, downtown, and airport. The owners were there to greet us with warm cookies fresh out of the oven and great suggestions on places to see in Austin. I would suggest this to anyone traveling to the Austin area.

This home was everything it was advertised to be and more. There was plenty of room for everyone and the location was fantastic. The owners were very helpful and knowledgeable about the activities around the city and even had fresh baked cookies waiting for us as we walked in the door. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to have either a quiet/relaxing weekend or an party/late night weekend. It would fit for all scenarios. I would definitely stay here again.

The house is very nice and you could tell the owner has taken great pride in furnishing and decorating the house. He bought a gas grill before we arrived although we never got the opportunity to use it. The owner went out of his way to accomodate us. We had planned our trip in advance then there was a death in the family so I contacted the owner and he told me that he would work with me any way he could. He rewrote the contract and he was kind enough to take a day off of the contract. My family was very impressed with the house even saying that this house was one of the nicest we had ever stayed in. I would recommend this house to anyone that wants to be near the downtown area or to just kick back and relax. Great cookies too!
