A beautiful 2800 square foot Home on three acres of wooded property with heated in ground pool and large sun deck on 260 feet of river frontage on the mainstream of the Ausable river. The property has a remote controlled entrance gate to maintain your privacy. Our home has a large all glass room over looking the river. We also have log vaulted ceilings, a loft, a large fifteen foot tall stone fire place with a gas log so you can have a fire any time with a push of a button. It is furnished in beautiful hand made Amish log and hickory furniture. The Home is knotty pine with beautiful red pine floors. We also have a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The home also has a game room for those rainy days. We sleep eight or ten if you use the loft, the kids will love it. Home comes with a canoe. Weekly rentals and some weekend rentals depending on availability.

AWESOME HOUSE!

We had two families with us...10 people in all. We had 6 kids and 4 adults and there was PLENTY of room. The kids loved the loft! Everyone had their own space and enjoyed everything about this house. The pool was amazing...the diving board provided hours of "Simulated Olympic Diving" practice hahah! The house was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen and eating areas were perfectly accommodating for all of us. There were bikes to use, a canoe, the xbox and air hockey. We loved this house! We did struggle a little getting the canoe down to the river bank and back up, but it was well worth it. It would have been nice to have a more level area to put the canoe in. The river room in the back of the house provided a nice quiet place for those of us who had to work or read or even a nice addition to hide-n-seek places at night. The jacuzzi tub and large shower in the master were also enjoyed every day! The fire pit and grill were used almost every day as well. The owners called me the day we arrived to be sure all was well. We went into town and enjoyed the Dawson and Steven's Coke Diner. We also went to the Grayling Museum and the gift shop across the street (Ausable Gifts). Everyone was SO kind!! We will definitely be back!

Following up from last year's review. New firepit and gas grill. The deck across the front allows for everyone to enjoy the river view. We will be back next year .

Great location for fishing trip with the guys. Close to town but secluded. Cable TV for watching playoffs was welcome. Very nice with plenty of parking for a crew. We're too old for the loft but oversized couches worked fine too.

Beautiful and relaxing!

This house is beautiful inside and out. The furniture and decorating is very unique and upscale. Our teenagers loved the pool and game room. It was great that all three bedrooms had TV's. The "river room" was peaceful and relaxing. The house is just a few minutes from downtown Grayling.
Unfortunately, on our first day of vacation I injured my ankle. The hospital is very close by. We got in and out of the emergency room within one hour.
Although my ankle slowed me down quite a bit we all still had a wonderful vacation. Thank you for sharing your amazing house with us!

I'd almost rather keep this place a secret all for myself, but its too good not to share.
First off, the house is even better than the pictures can describe, the kitchen and living room area (as well as the rest of the house) were spacious, open, and clean. The "log cabin" type appearance is very charming.
The view from the deck down to the river is gorgeous! There is a fire pit and seating area on the deck that we used daily for roasting marshmallows and simply relaxing. The pool, while not being open during our stay, has a large deck perfect for relaxing by the water.
There is a canoe and paddles, along with bikes, all of which were in good condition and were a joy to use. All in all I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing time. The location is perfect too, not too far from town but yet still secluded and quiet. We are already planning our next stay!

Awesome rental home!

Our family stayed for the weekend of the Roscommon Fireman's Memorial Festival and found the home to be absolutely beautiful! Our grandchildren caught insects, toads and snakes and everyone truly enjoyed the game room!
If there was anything negative to say, it would only be that the loft is not as big as we had hoped. It worked well for teens or kids, but you cannot stand up in the loft area. The other rooms were perfect and the beds were more comfortable than any hotel we have ever stayed in! I wish there were more photos too, because the few on the website were not enough.
Houe was amazingly clean and had every accommodation available to us. We recommend this home to the young and old alike.

Our stay was wonderful at this rental! The rental matched perfectly to the description on the website. Everything was very clean and tidy and the surroundings were beautiful. The rental sits right on the AuSable River - which is great for fishing! The house was especially wonderful for the men in my family....fishing, private swimming pool, canoeing, nature, fire pit and a game room!
The only disappointment was that the propane grill was out of fuel when we tried to use it for the first time. We had prepared a big meal to cook - turned on the grill and there was no fuel. The owners had us go out to get the refill and we had to pay for it.
We would definitely stay there again.....we highly recommend this rental!

Cozy, comfortable and more!!

Just got back today from a great week with my wife, four kids and two dogs. This place is spectacular! Clean, cozy and comfortable. Plenty of room-the River Room is the best room in the house. All amenities are top notch, from the kitchen appliances to the heated pool. Has a huge deck that wraps around the entire home. Great times had by all in the pool, firepit, canoeing and fly fishing.
It rained one day, but that didn't matter. The kids played air hockey, X-box and made popcorn.
Both dogs had a blast and met many neighboring dogs that came by for a quick "hello".
Located close enough to town for a quick grocery run, but far enough away and tucked in the woods to make you feel away from it all.
Already thinking about coming back next year!

This home is so beautiful and relaxing,we had the best vacation here.It has everything you need.The pool was so wonderful we did not want to get out.Our schnauzer had a wonderful time exploring and just relaxing as we did. It was neat to watch the canoes paddle by as we watch from the river room or outside.We are already telling our friends to join us next year. Thank you for such a great home to vacation at.

What a wonderful home! Absolutely beautiful. We rented it for the NCAA tourney and with a 42in. flat screen above the fireplace and leather couches that reclined, it was absolutely perfect. When I tired of the games, I wandered into the river room and stretched out on the couch with the sun streaming through the windows to read my book and catch some shut eye. We had a wonderful time, something that the both of us really needed. The house was very clean and well kept. I fell in love with the master bedroom and bathroom. Awesome furniture. It truely is an up north home. We will be returning someday and I would definitely recommend this property to friends. Thanks for the great time and for letting us share you home.
